We had a lovely stay at Melzi’s, the loft is great with everything you need, plus some lovely scones. A beautiful location within the Burren, very peaceful and lots of cows to watch from the window. We especially enjoyed seeing Rocky the dog each day!

I stayed two nights with my partner and son in Rhona's beautiful cottage on the lake. The cottage is very clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. Rhona greeted us on arrival, which was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The views outside are really breathtaking. It is right on the bank of a magnificient lake Corrib where my partner was lucky to catch a fish. There is a lovely forest walk right on the site, and a private boat pier. In the evenings we spent quality time playing board games and chess. Rhona was very helpfull to give us advice on what we can see around, and where to have some lovely food and there is plenty activities for everyones taste! I would really love to visit your place again in summer time and have a boat ride and a barbeque, Rhona. Thanks for your hospitality, we had an amazing few days!

What a beautiful location and place to stay! We slept wonderfully in this peaceful country retreat. The location is about 1/2way between Dublin and Kylemore Abbey, we used it as a stopover on our way towards Dublin after Kylemore. The value would be really great for a large party, for us there were only 5 so we didn’t even use all the rooms (the kids wanted to sleep together, they were excited for the bunk beds). We wandered around the estate a little and even took a stroll around the Friary ruins in town. There is a playground at the entrance to the estate area that the kids loved. We had a great time with the fire pit in the outside area behind the place. It is a renovated old building so it did have some problems, and our impression was that the hosts are new to this process, but what they lacked in experience they made up for in enthusiasm. Rowan was VERY responsive, and tried his best to resolve any issues quickly. We would stay here again.

This is the most incredible, peaceful place. The hosts are very kind and responsive. Self check in was easy. The location by the loch is magical and the house so beautifully furnished and well-equipped (both the indoor and outdoor spaces). We could have stayed at the house all week enjoying the facilities and the loch, but we did venture out to the coast and some surrounding landmarks and found it a great base from which to do that. We would love to return one day.

Martin was a very welcoming and friendly host. Asked us about our trio and what we were planning on doing. When we told him my partner was taking part in a strongman competition he wished us luck and was very interested about it. The room we were staying in was lovely and exceptionally tidy. Bed was super comfy and the area was beautiful to look at it. We can’t wait to come back again.

J'ai passé 6 nuits chez Martin, et j'en suis ravie ! La chambre est très grande, avec une superbe vue sur le lac et la montagne en fond. Le lit est super confortable, j'y ai dormi comme un bébé ! La salle de bain est aussi spacieuse, et propre. J'ai apprécié de pouvoir me poser dans le salon (partagé avec l'autre chambre) après une bonne journée de marche. La maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel paisible et à seulement quelques minutes à pieds du lac. Et à moins de 5mn en voiture du charmant village Oughterard, où on trouve tout ce qu'il faut en terme de commerces. Et le meilleur pour la fin: l'accueil, tout simplement formidable ! Martin est très sympa, aux petits soins, et s'assure régulièrement au cours du séjour que vous êtes bien, sans être intrusif pour autant. Il est réactif si on a des questions et donne plein d'idées d'activités, de balades à faire ou encore de restaurants. Bref, je recommande à 200% ce logement, pour ma part je m'y suis sentie comme à la maison !

Davis was a great host, picking us up and going back to the ferry. Banshee cottage is lovely and spacious and very comfortable to stay in and very clean. We all really enjoyed our stay there and so near all the amenities and the views were amazing, we would highly recommend it and thank you David.

Rhona is really kind. She is very nice and very helpful. The house is great, clean, quiet. We appreciated everything. If we go back to Ireland, we will probably go back there.

We had a great time in Paddy's very spacious and beautiful house at the lough. We are city dwellers and this was an opportunity for us and the kids (10 and 14) to do something very different. The house is about 3k down a lane which is easy to navigate with a normal car, we had a Duster and that was a plus. From a city dwellers point of view you have to get used to being out in the sticks and everything is a bit of a chore. Shopping, getting around, you are in a pretty remote spot. But that is also the advantage. You are already there. You are in the beauty spot. You can just walk up and down the lane and enjoy the views, the sheep and the mountains. You don't have to go anywhere to see something. It is all around you. Westport is a good place to go to stock up. Paddy was great to communicate with and very pleasant and easy going. If you know your way around fish and loughs and water sports you will get a real kick out of this, we loved it. Great place. Thanks Paddy.
