A studio apartment in a Craftsman style home built in the 1920s. It is located on the edge of Galveston's Historic District. We're close to some good restaurants and within walking distance of a supermarket. The historic Strand District is a mile away, a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive. The beach is close by, 3 minutes to family friendly Stewart Beach The studio is below our main house and has a low ceiling. Tall guests (over 6 ft) may be less comfortable. Most folks will find it very cozy.

The apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom (shower only). You'll have wifi and access to a washer and dryer. Bacliff is close to Galveston, Kemah Boardwalk, NASA, and (depending on traffic!) a 35 minute drive to downtown Houston or the Texas Medical Center.
