Lazy J Homestead Cabin

Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Note that cell service will likely drop off a few miles before you reach the cabin. please read more in "The space" section of this listing.

This spot is close enough to enjoy the shops and cuisine of Homer 15 mins away, or enjoy the solitude and grab a cocktail at The Homestead nearby. Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. Only 8 miles to the Spit, 5 miles to the Kilcher Homestead, but away from the hustle and bustle of Homer’s busy summer season. We provide breakfast bars & snacks, and you are welcome to use our washer and dryer (top of the stairs.) In summer, enjoy the outdoor area with firepit, gas grill, dining table & chairs. The Bear's Den on East End Road

Welcome to Homer, Alaska! The Bear's Den offers beautiful views of Katchemak Bay, glaciers and mountains. This Bear themed studio has a queen bed in the main room, and a microwave, refrigerator and with a private bathroom off of the main room. We have just added a second room, with two twin beds. Everything is cozy and private! Located 5.2 miles east of Homer, on a paved road.

This is a 14' dry yurt above Bear Canyon. Canyon Rim Trail runs just outside your door. During your stay, you'll take in beautiful views of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit. We are located east of Homer, 1/2 mile above the walking/biking path that runs from Homer along East End Road. We are also just 1/2 mile (a 10 minute walk) from Bear Creek Winery.
