The Black Swan houseboat is truly a special place to stay. Leonora and Erwin have thought of every detail, and the space makes you feel instantly at home. If you are looking for a special place to relax with friends or family, you need to consider a stay at the Black Swan. We would certainly return without hesitation.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Leeuwarden. Das Hausboot war ideal für uns, da wir vorrangig zum Angeln dort waren. Wir konnten direkt vor der Haustür fischen und es gab einige gute Spots in der direkten Umgebung.

Es war wirklich ein schöner und ruhiger Aufenthalt.

The boat house was the idyllic haven to return to at the end of a busy day in the city. We had a fantastic family break and the added additions of the bikes and boat were a bonus. Also managed to try the local restaurants. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

We hebben genoten van het verblijf op de woonark! Een heerlijk plekje aan het water bij een superhost! Fijne kamers, leuke spelletjes en veel te doen in de buurt. We hebben genoten van de rust in de directe omgeving van Amsterdam. Het was heerlijk 'thuiskomen' op de ark na een drukke dag in de stad. Marie Louise is erg gezellig en behulpzaam en staat altijd voor je klaar! Echt fantastisch!!!@

More than we wished for!!! Great communication, really helpful and Karina’s Boathouse is truly fantastic, the boathouse is finished with little personal touches and is in a wonderful location - only a few minutes from the city centre but quiet and tranquil. We feel lucky to have stayed over Kingsday and couldn’t have asked for more! Currently working out dates for another visit… If you are considering booking - stop thinking and do it, you will not regret it!

Absolut geniales Hausboot. Super-schön eingerichtet - sehr modern - mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Es war blitzsauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und das Leben auf dem Hausboot sehr genossen (eine tolle Erfahrung). Zum Boot gehört ein SUP, das wir trotz der Jahreszeit ausprobiert haben. Im und um das Boot ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man fast mittendrin - es sind nur wenige Meter in den eigentlichen Ort. Richtig klasse: der Supermarkt liegt direkt gegenüber. Anita und Diedert sind tolle und sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die wir zwar nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben aber die Kommunikation mit ihnen lief hervorragend. Wir würden gerne mal wiederkommen.

Eine tolle, moderne und hochwertig eingerichtete Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!!

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Die Kinder waren von der Überraschung begeistert, dass wir als Unterkunft ein Hausboot haben. Dieses war ruhig gelegen, die Einrichtung liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und hatten viel Freude beim beobachten der Enten, Reiher und Schwäne direkt vom Frühstückstisch

Thank you so much to Fern. You were so helpful and accommodating from the initial booking to check out. Your houseboat is absolutely stunning and location was perfect. Stones throw from tramlines and quirky eateries. We will return.

Wir hatten ein schönes verlängertes Wochenende auf dem Hausboot! Die Lage war traumhaft – ruhig, direkt am Wasser, mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Das Boot war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem, was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die kleine Terrasse, perfekt zum Frühstücken oder den Abend ausklingen lassen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die mal etwas anderes erleben und dabei entspannen möchten! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Der Aufenthalt bei Frauke und Thomas war super schön und sehr besonders! Auch die einwandfreie und unproblematische Kommunikation mit Patrick war toll, wir konnten sogar spontan das Boot dazu mieten. Ein unvergessliches Wochenende, sehr zu empfehlen und gerne wieder!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour d’une nuit. Le logement est charmant, original et facile d’accès. Nous avons aisément trouvé un bon restaurant et Aalsmeer est un très bel endroit. Nous avons apprécié le livret de bienvenue préparé par Anne qui a été très réactive et disponible. Le logement était propre et fonctionnel. Nous avons été bien accueillis et avons passé un très bon séjour ! C’était une belle expérience de dormir sur l’eau. À refaire!

wir hatten als kleine Familie einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub auf dem Hausboot. es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu Unternehmen und dass wir schon die Schaluppe benutzen durften war ein absolutes Highlight. Wenn wir eine Frage hätten, bekamen wir immer super schnell eine Antwort. Eine sehr nette Familie, tolles Boot. wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt, bei dem wir uns äußerst wohl gefühlt haben. Das Haus ist einfach schön und Arnold war immer hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Wir waren zu viert zu Gast und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Schon die Ankunft war sehr unkompliziert, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war einfach und angenehm. Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Es war wirklich an alles gedacht: Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, die Betten sehr bequem und auch kleine Details wie Handtücher, Pflegeprodukte und eine kleine Auswahl an Kaffee und Tee haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht. Auch die Lage war perfekt – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral, sodass wir viele Ausflugsziele und Restaurants schnell erreichen konnten. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten hier eine kurze, aber tolle und erholsame Auszeit. Das Hausboot war mal was ganz anderes. Es hat viele schöne Außenplätze zum Entspannen, SUPs und Boote zum Nutzen. Die Innenstadt war fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem war es ziemlich ruhig auf dem Boot. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Logement agréable, calme, à 20 min d’Amsterdam. Situé sur l’eau, mais ce n’est pas une péniche. On a passé un excellent séjour.

Séjour en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants/ados) Nous avons eu un temps formidable et donc nous avons pu parfaitement profiter du lieu. Le logement est très bien équipé (nous avons pu cuisiner comme nous voulions car la cuisine est très bien équipée) Le bateau et le canoë ont plus à toute la famille ! C’est paisible et agréable : un vrai petit coin de paradis ! (D’où nous avons pu visiter Amsterdam, Rotterdam, la Haye, Utrecht…)
