Ascend a spiral staircase to a bedroom at the top of a tower in a magnificent villa. The room has a large private terrace with magnificent views of our olive grove and the Franschheok mountains. This suite is set on a 2 hectare farm and is perfect for a tranquil and peaceful getaway, but within 2 km of the quaint Franschhoek village. Franschhoek is known for its beautiful mountain ranges and valley vistas, delicious wines, culinary delights and quaint shops. You can enjoy secure parking behind locked gates, access to the rose garden, tennis court, vineyards and olive groves. You have your own private entrance. The house is surrounded by farms and has excellent views. We are just over 2km from Franschhoek Village, so in easy access. If you do not want to drive, you can get around very easily on the Tuk-Tuk or hire a bicycle to enjoy a leisurely drive around the village and valley. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cafe Bon Bon who are our neighbours. Access is through a private gate a short walk through our vineyards. Sandstone house is located in the quiet corner of Franschhoek with very little traffic noise as there is no through traffic. The guest suite is in Sandstone House. Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). Lakeside cabin with wood fired hot tub

Rosemary cottage is one of three cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with a wood fired hot tub, direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is intended as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee. There is an infrared sauna below the dam for you to use.

Olive and Vine Farm Cottage, 10min walk from town!

The Olive and Vine Farm Cottage, is situated between vineyards and olive trees, with amazing views of the Franschhoek mountains. The cottage is within walking distance (10min) of the world class restaurants on offer in the Franschhoek village plus the Wine Tram that will take you to all the well known wine farms that surround Franschhoek. Here you will have the benefit of enjoying the peace and tranquility which is part of farm life, but you are close enough to also enjoy what the town offers.

It also features a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/family room with full patio doors opens onto a large covered verandah and a large family sized pool. We have an inverter for lights and wifi. Blueberry Hill Cottages - Lavender - Franschhoek

Lavender Cottage is a modern three bedroom self catering cottage with three bedrooms, main ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the large rim flow pool. The pool is situated on it's own large terrace and is shared with Olive cottage. We are ideal for guests who enjoy wine tours, the outdoors, hiking and biking plus horse riding.

La Chataigne Wine Farm - Marron Cottage

A 2 bedroom self-catering cottage nestled along the river on La Chataigne Wine Farm, just 7km's outside of Franschhoek Town. The cottage has an open plan living area with a cosy lounge, fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms, and a front and back patio with a braai/bbq overlooking the river.
