My Blue Heaven—Family Home in the Heart of Lake Placid

Watch the world go by from one of the rockers on the wraparound porch. Spacious, inviting vintage home with updated decor. Two eating areas, cozy nook with wood stove. Walk to town & lake. Lots of space to relax & unwind. Equipped with desks & Wi-Fi for remote work. We look forward to hosting you and hope enjoy the magic of Lake Placid! We welcome parties of 10 or less with a maximum of 6 adults. No parties/events. No smoking. (Town Permit # STR-200292) Guests have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage interior, the basement and an owner's closet. We're available anytime via cell phone and have a property manager nearby who is available to address any issues. Set in a quiet neighborhood in the center of town, stroll from here to boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Lake Placid, Mirror Lake and the original Olympics facilities are all within walking distance. Hop on the shuttle to reach Whiteface. Walk or drive as you like. A shuttle to Whiteface is available around the corner as well. We provide starter toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, 2 hair dryers, all bed linens including pillows, towels and basic cleaning supplies. The kitchen is meant for cooking with pots, pans, mixing bowls and more! There is a supermarket right up the road (and plenty of speciality markets around town.) Happy eating!

Perfect family retreat with hot tub

This spacious rental nestled on Dewey Mountain within walking distance to everything Saranac Lake has to offer provides privacy. Enjoy the hiking, cross country skiing & mountain biking trails steps from the front door. Decks with outdoor fire pit and grill add to entertaining. The family room fireplace, cathedral ceilings and plenty of windows add to the feeling of the North Woods. My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups. A six person hot tub on the deck adds to the fun.

Retreat to The Village Hideaway, a cozy private efficiency with an ensuite bathroom for one or two guests. Guests have a private entrance. The space is thoughtfully appointed providing all you'll need for a comfy stay including a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and other kitchenette essentials. Situated in the rear of the house with parking just steps from your doorway. Enjoy the convenience to stroll downtown for dining and shopping. And we are right on the Adirondack Rail Trail!

Charming 2 Bedroom Modern 1880’s Farmhouse

A renovated 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a completely fenced in yard with lots of room to play and a large back deck to watch it all happen. *We allow 2 small or 1 medium well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s. Spacious 3 Bedroom, 2 Full bathroom Adirondack retreat by the Olympic Ski Jumps and just 1.2 miles to the heart of town. A cheerful and spacious cottage in the heart of Lake Placid village, that is conveniently located walking distance to Main Street shops / restaurants, both Mirror Lake as well as Lake Placid marina / boat rental. It's in the Hillcrest area of Lake Placid, which is a quiet residential neighborhood in the center of town. Our cottage is our second home, lovingly decorated with Adirondack atmosphere. Tupper Lake is at the crossroads of the Adirondacks. Our house is perfect for couples, friends and families who want to get away to the Adirondacks. Pets are always welcomed. Our house sits overlooking a cranberry bog, looking to the west over Tupper Lake with amazing sunsets. There's even a treehouse with amazing views down the lake. Complimentary adult voucher to The Wild Center. Take in wildlife: bald eagles, american bittern, loons, deer and maybe even a moose!
