Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Historic Wykoff Jail Haus

Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people.

Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

Beautiful 1913 4 bedroom 2 bath home with original woodwork just 12 miles (about 15 -20 minutes) from the Mayo Clinic and less than 10 minutes to the airport. The home backs up to a park with both trails and playground equipment. There is on and off street parking and from Nov 15 - March 15 includes 1 garage space. Fully furnished home with complete kitchen, bedding and towels. Main floor bathroom has a seated shower with handheld. I will provide a Mayo Clinic parking pass upon request.

There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

This place is located near the heart of Rochester, within blocks of St. Mary's hospital, very peaceful, cozy and private. A lower-level unit in an older home, plenty of windows and light, and includes a gorgeous bedroom with a fireplace, a full kitchen, a reading room, and a clean, updated bathroom. This home is also close to the Apache mall, the Canadian Honker and other local restaurants, coffee shops, and the walking/biking trail system. There is also Wi-Fi, laundry, and parking on-site.

The Hygge (pronounced hyoo·guh) House is a tiny taste of Scandinavia in Southeastern Minnesota. What is Hygge? In short, it's a Scandinavian way of living that focuses on hunkering down and creating a safe, comforting and warm place to while away. My husband and I hand built the Hygge House with your comfort in mind. We love being cozy and having space to spend together so when the opportunity arose to renovate our studio, we wanted to share it!
