Je voelt je meteen thuis in het sfeervolle huisje middenin een tuin met rozen, rozemarijn, fruit- en olijfbomen. De klokkentoren zorgt al eeuwen voor een karakteristiek uitzicht. Giovanna en Antonio zijn zeer hartelijk en geven fijne tips over de fantastische Toscaanse omgeving (wandelroutes, dorpjes, strand, restaurant,…). Ze verwennen je met hun eigen olijfolie, limoncello, vers geplukte vruchten en wijn en ze laten je lekker je eigen gang gaan. De ommuurde stad Lucca is 10min rijden en zowel met de fiets als te voet te bezoeken. In deze wat kleinere stad heb je de Duomo bijna voor jezelf. Pistoia, Pisa, Florence, allemaal een uurtje rijden, zijn zeer de reis waard maar het is na deze drukke steden elke avond weer heerlijk om in het rustige Upupa huisje terug te keren. Wij, 2 zusjes, verbleven er begin november en konden in de tuin een handje helpen met de olijvenpluk. Onze vakantie was helemaal af. Grazie mille, Luki&Niko

Wir waren zu dritt in der Wohnung, die irgendwie ein Haus ist. Sehr schön gelegen, großer Garten mit prima Terrasse, eine tolle Küche mit WIRKLICH allem. Silvia ist wirklich nett und sehr hilfsbereit, gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle Silvia und die Unterkunft voll und ganz! Nochmal Danke!

Die Reaktionszeit von Jacopo und Paola auf Anfragen war äusserst prompt. Die Kommunikation gestaltete sich sehr angenehm und freundlich. Die gesamte Wohnung sowie ihr Umfeld zeichneten sich durch eine behagliche Atmosphäre und eine ruhige Umgebung aus. Es gab lediglich zwei Aspekte, die uns ein bisschen störten. Nach dem Einschalten der Klima/Wärmeanlage schalteten sich die Lampen wiederholt ein und aus, zudem war die Beleuchtung unzureichend, um das Lesen eines Buches zu ermöglichen. Es lässt sich konstatieren, dass der Wasserdruck in der Dusche als vergleichsweise gering einzustufen ist. Ungeachtet dessen, können wir eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für das Haus aussprechen und würden jederzeit erneut die Unterkunft in Anspruch nehmen.

Premier séjour pour nous en Italie et nous ne pouvions rêver mieux. 10 jours de bonheur. Un grand merci à Massimo pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Un homme au grand coeur et au petit soin pour ses hôtes. Son logement est d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien situé. Nous repartons avec de magnifiques souvenirs. À un de ces jours comme on dit chez nous! Les Français : Geoffrey, Laura et les enfants Naël et Yaëlie.

Chouette séjour dans la maison d’Ilaria et sa maman. Très bel accueil, maison très bien située à 10 minutes de Lucques avec un accès en train à Florence, Pise, Sienne, Rome… La maison était très propre, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Le jardin est vraiment parfait avec la terrasse même si le temps ne nous a pas permis d’en profiter pleinement. L’endroit est calme et bucolique dans un environnement très calme. Ilaria a su rendre notre séjour parfait et merci pour la petite attention à notre arrivée !

Thanks Andrea for staying in your house, the hospitality you showed and all the suggestions for what to do and where to eat! We really liked the house and the beautiful location next to the river. It’s calm and quiet, and everything was well provided.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno molto piacevole nella casa di Alessandro. La casa era pulita, ben attrezzata e situata in una zona tranquilla e bellissima. Alessandro è stato un ospite molto gentile, disponibile e comunicativo. Anche quando abbiamo dovuto partire prima, tutto è andato senza problemi. Grazie di tutto, torneremmo volentieri!

Posto incantevole ad un passo da tutto ma immerso nella tranquillità. Impagabile la gentilezza e la cortesia di Roberta e Stefano che ti fanno sentire come a casa!

Sono stato ospite da Elena con mia moglie, incinta al nono mese e mio figlio di 2 anni. L’appartamento si trova al primo piano di una bellissima villa ristrutturata e si raggiunge con una scala a chiocciola. L’ambiente è molto luminoso con dettagli altrettanto curati. Ha tutto il necessario per una permanenza davvero rilassante: aria condizionata in salotto e camera da letto, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, bidet e doccia molto comodi, balcone spazioso. La terrazza si trova sul tetto della villa e si raggiunge con accesso esterno all’appartamento tramite scala a chiocciola (la stessa che porta all’appartamento): enorme, con vista sugli alberi e sulle Alpi, arredata con lettini-ombrellone e un tavolo dove poter cenare. Abbiamo alloggiato ad Agosto in settimane molto calde quindi l’abbiamo usata dopo il tramonto. Elena è stata una host impeccabile, generosa nei consigli e instancabile nel fornirci supporto. Ci ha dimostrato una empatia fuori dal comune facendoci stare benissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato 9 gg. Con mia figlia e nipotini , siamo stati accolti molto bene da Gabriella la proprietaria che ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni sulla bellissima e luminosissima casa accessoriata di tutto e piena di ogni comfort e pulitissima facendoci trovare la dispensa piena di prodotti per la colazione secondo le nostre preferenze è una persona straordinaria attenta a tutto facendoci trovare nel frigorifero una bottiglia di prosecco per il benvenuto e altro cibo, mai avuto un'accoglienza così ,la casa è molto accogliente è stato come vivere nella propria casa non mancava nulla. Gabriella è stata sempre disponibile ad ogni nostra domanda . Il soggiorno in questa casa lo super consigliamo e sicuramente ci ritorneremo con grande piacere. Aurelio e Macella con famiglia Werner

Vielen Dank liebe Sara , dass du uns deine Wohnung zur Verfügung gestellt hast. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat eine phantastische Lage mit direktem Strandzugang . Die Deckenhöhe ist in der Dusche und in den Schlafzimmern etwas niedrig, jedoch sind wir beide auch recht groß. Wir konnten uns damit sehr gut arrangieren und für uns war das auch kein Problem. Wir alle (inklusive Kinder 5 u 10 Jahre) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung 100% weiter. Sara ist sehr lieb und zuvorkommend, vielen Dank dafür!

Die Unterkunft war super! Es ist zwar etwas abseits aber dadurch wundervoll ruhig gelegen. Die Kommunikation Mittelmaß und Egle war einwandfrei und wir haben auch direkt lokale Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Man sollte jedoch darauf achten, dass man sein Auto gut beherrscht da die Straße zur Unterkunft recht schmal ist, was jedoch für die Berge sehr typisch ist :) Definitiv zu empfehlen wenn man es etwas ruhiger mag und eine wundervolle Landschaft überblicken möchte!!

Please do yourself a favour and book this place! Franco and his family are amazing hosts, the appartment looks even better in person and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had questioned ourselves whether it would be a downside to live together with more people on the property, but this turned out to be more of an advantage than anything. It felt like having very friendly neighbours, and we never felt like we had less personal space as a result. On top of this, the neighbouring towns are great for day trips and restaurants. So take the opportunity to enjoy this airbnb gem :) (someone mentioned the internet did not work, but this is fixed now)

Stayed at Andrea's condo for a month, and can't say enough abut how great it was. Well-furnished kitchen, super clean overall, and just a mere 10 minute bike ride ( I rented a bike down the road for the month) to the Lucca wall, the train station, and the Coop supermarket. There is a great bakery (Forno Ghilardi), a butcher, and Trattoria "Da Ildo" less than 10 minutes walk. Cycling into the nearby hills a visiting the outlying villages was great, and the locals are very cycling friendly. Lucca itself has so much to offer in terms of cuisine, the arts, and sights, and even though it is a tourism mecca, it has to be one of the friendliest cities I've ever visited. For down time, my favorite thing was gilling in the yard at Andrea's place and enjoying dinner al fresco in a quiet neighborhood with views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. I can't recall why I chose Lucca in the first place, but staying at Andrea's was definitely the right choice, and I will come back.

Very easy to explore Lucca from this location. Supernice roofterrace and jacuzzi. All you need in a few square meter, fits with two children!

Wir wurden freundlich von Angelo empfangen. Er hat uns mit vielen nützlichen Tip's rund um die Umgebung versorgt und war jederzeit erreichbar und auch vor Ort. Das Appartement ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Ein perfekter Ort zum erholen. Der Pool war fantastisch und der Garten war sehr gepflegt und man konnte wunderbar relaxen. Am schönsten fanden wir den Wasserfall in der Nähe. Indem man gut baden gehen konnte. Man benötigt unbedingt ein Auto um ins nächste Dorf zu gelangen. Vom Appartement bis nach La Spezia braucht man etwa 1 Stunde und nach Pisa ca. 1,5 Stunden. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt.

Un petit chalet et son jardinet avec piscine situé idéalement au cœur de la Toscane, les villes de Pise, Sienne, Florence et Lucca sont a plus ou moins 1h de route. Nicoletta et son père nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux ! Ils sont adorables et très a l'écoute, si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit ils répondent très vite ! la piscine est entretenue tous les jours et donc d'une propreté absolue, quel bonheur de pouvoir s'y détendre après une journée de visite dans la chaleur Toscane, puis de déguster son dîner en terrasse avec vue sur les magnifiques couchers de soleil quotidiens ! le chalet est propre et contient tout le nécessaire (si je veux chipoter il manquerait quelques petites choses dans la cuisine commes quelques couverts en plus et un saladier ou deux par exemple, mais cela permettrait juste de passer de quelque chose de ja très bien à super, donc c'est vraiment si on cherche la petite bête) et la climatisation est très appréciable. Merci pour ce beau séjour !

We were a group of four adults and two dogs and had a fantastic time at Lucas place. The property is well maintained and in absolutely private surroundings. The view of the surrounding forest and mountains is beautiful any time of day and the pool is amazing for warmer days. Luca was an attentive host, and communication with him went very smoothly. Our holiday was beautiful and relaxing, thank you for everything Luca and hopefully see you again in the future

Our easter holiday at Corrado's place was WONDERFUL.It's a welcoming and clean typical mountain chalet....Who loves to nature & calmness...Above all our children had great fun with his beautiful garden... Corrado has done his best for us.He is a available & courteous person...As a host he is perfect!!And it was a remarkable vacation!!!!

Etwas abgelegen, aber dadurch sehr angenehm ruhig. Genau was wir gesucht haben. Bei der ersten Suche nach der Unterkunft haben wir die Hilfe von Matteo benötigt, danach aber problemlos die Unterkunft gefunden. Es sind ca. 10km von Piazza bis hoch (ca. 700müM) zur Unterkunft. Beinahe bei Pasquilino. Gleich unterhalb der Taverne La Capanna. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe der Unterkunft sind aussergewöhnlich. Allerdings haben es selbst die Mücken bis dorthin geschafft. Das Haus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und wer sich nicht scheut von Hand abzuwaschen, für den ist diese Bleibe jederzeit zu empfehlen. Danke Camilla und Matteo, wir haben es sehr genossen.

Montefegatesi è un paese molto curato. La casa di Alessia è tenuta davvero molto bene e il panorama circostante è incantevole. È un alloggio ideale per un ritiro nella pace della natura. Da Montefegatesi partono vari percorsi ben segnalati anche per non esperti. Ci torneremo!

We had such a great experience staying at this Cabin! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the river view—it was absolutely stunning and made the whole place feel so peaceful and relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for unwinding, and the overall vibe of the home was warm and welcoming. The host was also fantastic, very responsive and thoughtful, which made everything even better. If you're looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery, this is the perfect spot. We'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
