The Stag Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The beautiful Stag Hut is situated within stunning Glen Urquhart with outstanding views, walks and beautiful scenery all around. The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, no oven. Its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Perfect for couples and families and sits alongside the West Highland Railway line, the cottage is in the enviable position to watch the trains pass the front door. Car is essential in order to see the surrounding areas.

The living room looks out across the garden through massive French windows which can also be fully opened on fair-weather days. This really opens up the space and brings the beautiful scenery inside. The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need with cooker, microwave, large fridge/ freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.

The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

Bowmore Cottage

Completed end July 2012, Bowmore is nestled amongst the most beautiful greenery - tall majestic trees to the back of the property hide the view of the small chapel next to the Abbey. The address, Abbey Gardens, gives away its history - Abbey Gardens was the vegetable patch tended by the monks when it was a working monastery. The cottage is set in its own private garden and just a few minutes' walk away is the southern tip of Loch Ness.
