Welcome to Villa Maria, our small fairy-tale chateau by the forest in Lauterbourg. It is your home away from home, with its own history and character, offering a calm retreat or a base between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg for exploring the Rhine Valley, Black Forest, and the Vosges. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the village bakeries for morning bread and 10 min to the lake & beach. Whether you are visiting as a couple, family or a group of ten, we hope you find it as welcoming and peaceful as we do.

During your getaway, come and enjoy the charm and romance of life on the water with all the modern comforts in this more than a century-old boat!

Our Heidi House is located in the middle of the Black Forest, in a small valley surrounded by green meadows. Next to the Heidi house is the farm we live on. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.

You can expect a newly renovated and stylishly furnished holiday apartment on the first floor of our half-timbered house with a large balcony and a great view of the Black Forest. The apartment is also ideal for families with (small) children. Travel cot available All the necessary shops can be reached in a few minutes on foot from your holiday apartment.
