Ci hanno dato un caloroso benvenuto (e ci hanno persino regalato dei dolci tipici di una panetteria locale) e sono stati molto flessibili con il check-in e il check-out. Mia moglie ed io siamo stati da loro solo una notte, ma avremmo voluto fermarci più a lungo per diversi motivi: innanzitutto per la posizione estremamente bella e tranquilla, immersa in una natura meravigliosa. La casa è circondata da un frutteto con meli, peri e susini (e altri alberi da frutto), così abbiamo potuto gustare dell'ottima frutta, perfettamente matura, appena colta. Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Lo chalet dispone di tutti i servizi per un soggiorno confortevole, tra cui un patio esterno con vista sul frutteto, un soppalco con letti comodi e una cucina ben attrezzata. Un altro vantaggio è che lo chalet è abbastanza in alto (circa 1300 metri sul livello del mare), quindi la temperatura era incantevole nonostante il caldo dell'estate siciliana. Questo è il luogo ideale da cui partire per esplorare lo splendido Monte Etna e le città vicine. Monica and her husband Salvatore have been great hosts, extremely helpful and available. They gave is a warm welcome (and even treated us with typical sweets from a local bakery) and were very flexible with the check-in and check-out. My wife and I only stayed at their place for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer for several reasons: first of all, because of the extremely beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is surrounded by an orchard with apple, pear and plum trees (and more), so we were able to enjoy perfectly ripe, organically grown fruits straight from the trees. Our stay was very pleasant as the chalet has all the right amenities for a comfortable stay, including an outdoor patio overlooking the orchard, a mezzanine with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. Another advantage is that the chalet is quite high up (around 1300 meters above sea level), so the temperature was lovely in spite of the heat of the Sicilian summer. This is the ideal spot from which to explore the gorgeous Mt. Etna and the neighbouring towns.

Excellent séjour au pied de l Etna. Très facile pour aller sur la côte de Catane a Taormina mais aussi Etna, nord, sud et d en faire le tour Giovanni a ete super, pour nous donner les instructions avt notre arrivée mais aussi pendt tt notre séjour. Aux petits soins pour nous proposer des astuces pour optimiser notre temps de visite et nous faire découvrir les traditions siciliennes. Nous sommes ravis de notre étape a Trecastagni. Très joli logement, très bien équipé. Un grand merci pour cet accueil chaleureux.

"La casa di Giulia" was the perfect getaway for us. Laura is an amazing host, she did everything she could (and beyond) to accommodate our needs. The house itself is super cozy and equipped with anything you can wish for. It's only a 2 mins walk away from the sea and located in a small authentic Sicilian village. I can highly recommend this place for anyone who would like to enjoy Sicily away from tourist madness, experiencing the life of a local. The rooftop terrace is the cherry on top ;) Thank you again Laura for your kindness and hospitality!

We have been to Ottavio and Elena’s place 6 years ago, and we came back this year because we liked the place very much. It is a rural setting. We had two rooms. One regular and the deluxe, which is bigger and more comfortabl. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, and the only bathroom is downstairs. There are two stairs. One of the stairs is narrow and spirals up, something to be careful about when you have little children. If this unit had one more bathroom, it would be perfect. The hosts are extremely kind. Breakfast was really good!! They bring it to the room either at 8.30 pm or 9 pm and you order from a menu the day before. All and all we had a great stay of 4 nights. The place is near Siracusa but you need a car to move around with. We will be back, and I highly recommend it.

Very nice and responsible host. The host will help you bring your baggage to their floor with elevator machine when you check in and check out. The room is big and nice. Overall, I will suggest this room to all people.

Giuseppe and his son was very friendly and helpful. They are indeed great hosts! They gave as instructions for the public transport and even prepared everything for the coffee and breakfast! Apartment is clean and very beautiful with the sense of the sea and a song From the birds! We felt really welcomed and we enjoyed our stay! I recommend this host from the heart 💜

Emilio es un anfitrión excepcional. Desde el primer día, nos atendió de manera muy amigable y, aunque no era su obligación, nos hizo el favor de transportarnos desde la estación de tren hasta la residencia. Durante nuestra estancia, estuvo siempre atento y resolvió cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos. Es una persona muy amable; incluso compartimos unas cervezas juntos. Mi pareja y yo pasamos un mes en este apartamento, el cual está completamente equipado con todo lo necesario. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Un consejo para futuros huéspedes: es conveniente contar con un automóvil, ya que el sistema de transporte en Sicilia puede ser bastante complicado. La piscina estuvo disponible a partir de julio. En conclusión, lo recomiendo.

Wir hatten einen sehr sehr schönen Aufenthalt alles sehr sehr sauber. Pool war privat. Wir haben alleine geschwommen Gast drehbar war sehr hilfsbereit. Alle waren sehr sehr nett top top top. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch mal dahingehen liebe Grüße und vielen Dank

Elio and Katrina really are super hosts, but are even better than that. The accommodation was great and the location close to supermarkets and with good access to Etna and local seaside villages. The house had the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced and they have thought of everything to make it an home from home.. Access to Netflix and You Tube for Sky News was terrific. Elio was so kind and helpful to us on every subject, exceeding our expectations totally. We recommend Casa Clo without reservation and thank them most sincerely for all their kindness.
