Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

From a distance the Tiny Home looks kinda ... tiny - but once inside, there's a feeling of spaciousness and light - high ceilings and lots of windows. It is really ideal for 1-2 people, but there's a comfy sofa bed as well for a 3rd person, and a long padded bench for a fourth. Large deck for stargazing!

Loa's Farm Get Away close to Capitol Reef

We hope you enjoy our space. We provide you with oatmeal and farm fresh eggs as the chickens allow. There is private entrance to a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom all private. We have area that if you need to park a truck and trailer for enjoying our mountains. We own a kennel on the property. This is a great place to stay and have your pet close for a minimal fee to go for a walk with you. We request that your pets stay in the kennel area to help keep cleaning costs down.

Welcome to the Cottage! We hope that you enjoy all of our amenities and the wonderful destinations nearby. We are located between the beautiful Capitol Reef National Park to the East and Fishlake National Forest to the North with Dixie National Forest to the South. When you aren't out enjoying the wilderness areas nearby, you will be in comfort with our Cottage being located within a mile of the grocery store, gas stations, and the Country Café. The Pinyon House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window. **If we are booked during your dates, check out our other A-frames next door, the Juniper House and Sage House.
