We loved this property!! We appreciated being able to bring our pups with us and enjoy the scenery!! We absolutely loved the hot tub and to be able to enjoy the sunset from the porch. Highly recommend this property.

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin had a wonderful hot tub and fire pit and recommendations for things to do around the area as well!

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

The place was beautiful we really enjoyed our stay here! Saw lots of wildlife within minutes of us being there! We loved that it was away from the city very peaceful very quiet. The jacuzzi was amazing adds to the ambiance for sure! Highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

This cabin was the perfect retreat to relax and get away from the hustle of daily life. Kari was very responsive and friendly! Cabin and the views are absolutely stunning- we would absolutely book with them again.

The cabin was spotless and decorated beautifully. The location was so peaceful and within a short drive to Lacrosse. We especially loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs (we called them over). Derek was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location.

I was here for a weekend to meet up with my sisters for a fun filled couple days. The house and the location were absolutely wonderful. It was cozy and clean. One night it was so clear we saw the stars and moon and it was so peaceful and quiet. The house was furnished with everything we needed. Can't wait to go back! We love the driftless area.

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the view of the river!

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

Cabin has a rustic look and feel, yet modern and comfortable. Beautiful setting. A nice quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the Fern Hollow Cabin! It was very peaceful and quiet. The history and story of the cabin is pretty amazing. You'll just have to come experience it yourself.

We had an incredibly beautiful, peaceful stay at Carolene’s lovely home. The property is stunning with walking trails and many nearby Amish shops that are within walking distance. The cabin is so cozy and we felt right at home. Most of our weekend was spent reading on the porch and in the grass. Carolene even brought us a special treat to welcome us. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

What a gem this cabin is! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect, peaceful, private, safe and cozy place we wanted. Truly a slice of Heaven! We will definitely be bringing our kids back next time. Perfect place for a romantic getaway, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world; and also would be great for the whole family! The Host was wonderful too, she clearly cares very much about her guests! Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us! We’ll surely be back!

Amazing accommodations for a peaceful weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate. It was centrally located so we could explore LaCrosse and Viroqua, but had just as much fun enjoying the comfortable cabin and beautiful views. Without being cluttered the cabin was thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We were especially surprised to be treated to a dozen farm fresh eggs, maple glazed cinnamon rolls, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. The water from the faucet was delicious. Cashton has a nice little grocery store to find last minute items. We explored Wildcat State Park on the way out of town and would love to come back to do some kayaking on the Kickapoo River.

Barb was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The cabin is in a very nice location. We enjoyed all the wildlife seen from the cabin. The fishing was pretty good. Lots of bass to catch. Very close distance to all the different Amish shops in the area.

Ryan was a wonderful host. The cabin and its surroundings are beautiful with the river nearby. Will definitely be staying with Ryan again! Thank you for everything Ryan!

7 girls on their 1st ever girls trip to a remote cabin in the woods.... 10/10 recommend! The drive there was beautiful, lots of wildlife to see, even on the property. The cabin is just like the pictures. There are the bare essentials as far as kitchen/bathroom supplies, but this isn't the ritz, its a cabin. There is quite the eclectic taste of knick knacks everywhere throughout the cabin. It was fun fiding different treasures througout the weekend and even sometimes comical. We unfortunately were not able to use the hot tub because it was being replaced but the hosts worked with us on ways to compensate us to make up for it. I've never met Charity but after having one conversation with her on the phone, she felt like my best friend after! We enjoyed reading, walks, plenty of games, Bob Ross paintings on the patio and laughing until we were crying. We only had one close encounter with a rabbit upon our arrival but we all fared well in the end! We will definitely be trying to come back!

A great way to get away but still be close to the local market, events, food ,etc. it was a beautiful remote spot but felt safe and secure :) we were able to utilize a lot of the dvds which was a fun nostalgic vibe and picked up local coffee from wonderstate and lunch from co-op! Our fav! This is such a beautiful serene getaway:) thank you so much

The location and cabin are both beautiful! We really enjoyed the view and the cabin overall. Mike was very easy to communicate with so that was nice as well. The beds and floors were quite squeaky and there was a very mild, strange smell around the house that we were told might be from the hard rain we had prior to coming and it's affect on the septic. It wasn't terrible but we did notice it. Otherwise it was great!
