Un des gros points forts est sa cour intérieure qui permet de se relaxer au calme et de pouvoir faire un barbecue. L'emplacement est idéal pour les randonneurs avec nombreux sentiers qui démarrent du village de Salau aux niveaux de difficultés différents. Les pêcheurs n'en seront pas de reste avec le Salat devant la maison.
