We couldn't have been happier to find this place. If you walk out back and go about 100 yd to the right, there is a beautiful swimming/ snorkeling area. We went to two other beaches in the area, but none of them compared to the one outback. If you want horses, the horses are also outside the house and around the beach in the afternoons. I you also love the sound of waves, it is the perfect location. You can hear the waves from inside the bedroom when you're sleeping. Although it can be a little loud, it is peaceful.

Our group had an amazing stay at Villa Zumbador! This place is a true gem. The outside space and dock were absolutely incredible, especially for cooking meals while enjoying the waterfront views. The interior of the villa was also great —AC in every room, clean, and plenty of extras. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking breeze. The villa is exactly as listed, no surprises here—everything was just as we expected, and the location couldn’t be better. If you’re into fly fishing, this place is a paradise. The host was incredibly communicative and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend Villa Zumbador for anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront retreat!

This place was absolutely beautiful! If you love the real island living, you will love this place! My family of 6 fit comfortably in the house, everything was spotless! The beds were comfortable and waking up to the rosters and catching the amazing sunrises were invaluable! We loved walking the little neighborhood and walking along the beach. The seaweed was a little difficult but Loquillo beach and seven seas beach are close distance and worth going to if you want a day of swimming. The house had everything we needed and such a peaceful experience! Would absolutely return!

This was our fourth stay here, and I'll continue to book this Airbnb every time I'm in town-it truly feels like a home away from home. The Ferry Terminals are as close as can be! As a returning guest, I'm always impressed with the care and thoughtfulness! When the power went out, they already had batteries by the door for the flashlight-just one example of how prepared and considerate they are! I always feel taken care of here. Can't wait to come back again!

Great stay. Recommended and definitely will stay again. Very private, the view is amazing and 2 AC units which help the apartment stay cold during these extremely heat days. A 4x4 is needed to reach the apartment in rainy days. I don’t think the golf cart could reach the unit. Keila is a great host and communication was great. Thank you for everything.

I had a great stay here! The house was clean, and Glorimar was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a very nice visit. Just a heads up—there are tiny mosquitoes around, which can be pretty annoying, especially since it’s near the beach, but I kind of expected that. This was my second time staying at Culebra, and it was definitely a better experience compared to last time at a different place. Highly recommended!

This is a truly special place. From the sweeping views of the ocean to the rooftop veranda, well-stocked house with everything one might need for trips to the surrounding beaches, it was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were firm and comfy, the ceiling fans and open windows (with screens, we had very few mosquito bites) kept the house extremely cool so we didn't miss AC at all. Would be an excellent space for older kids, having a toddler did mean that we needed to keep an eye on him since the stairs up to the tower and down to the beach were in a condition best for bigger legs and more coordination. The property manager was extremely kind with excellent local recommendations and securing us a packnplay, and the host was quickly responsive and flexible with our needs for moving our checkout time. If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place, but if you are looking for something truly special with real character, you will not be disappointed.

Stayed here as a family of 4, and it was fantastic! Incredibly close to the ferry terminal, we were able to walk instead of scrambling for a taxi. We were all very grateful for the large interior living spaces, beautiful exterior space (and private beach), and wonderful accomodations. Will definitely be recommending to friends, and will be staying here again next time we're back on Vieques!!

We loved this space! Janos was super welcoming and very accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The beach in the backyard was very private (saw one other family just once- and that’s it) and had some really cool shells. Very close to town with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Within a short drive to everywhere on the island. We will return again. Thank you for hosting us!

Our family really enjoyed Joe’s beautiful home. Honestly, once you enter the steps from the driveway, the view is just incredible. The house is very clean and modern. The set up of the home is in two separate areas separated by the outdoor/breezeway pool and patio area. One side is the living space and kitchen, the other side the bedrooms. We enjoyed opening the huge accordion doors to enjoy the breeze and views. Every aspect of this home has picturesque views. The outdoor grill area and kitchen necessities were adequate for us to cook most of our meals. The couch is small and not very comfortable (only small negative). Our kids enjoyed naming the roosters and chickens that came to say hello. Melones beach is prob a 5 min walk down a steep hill, but we drove instead. The beach is very rocky and short, but there were maybe 10 total people that we saw-it’s nice and private. We had snorkel gear and saw beautiful marine life. I highly recommend this property. Joe was very responsive.

It’s our 4th year having vacation in Vieques. This was the first year we lost power during the vacation. The house has the solar panels, we still had the WIFI to search online whats going on. We can use the pool. The outdoor grill can make food. It’s the best experience.

Holly and this home are wonderful! Holly was so kind to accommodate us one day early when our prior place did not recover from the power outage. She met us at the ferry and walked us to the house too. She gave spot on recommendations for dining, beaches and bio bay tour. The view of the ocean from the patio is incredible. Pictures do not do it justice. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay with kids.

WOW! The absolute best place I've stayed at in Culebra (and I've visited many, many times). Ben and Michelle could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. From personally showing us to the house, helping with our luggage, giving us a tour of the home, to the homemade bread and prosecco, we couldn't have felt more welcome. The home is gorgeous, pristine, with every amenity anyone could want. The view is spectacular and there is a water view from every bedroom. The house is so comfortable and cozy that it was hard to leave at the end of our trip. The driveway is quite steep, but nothing 4 wheel drive can't handle easily. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Our stay at Christopher's place, was exactly what we needed to recharge. Although we didn't see any horses using the lagoon it was nonetheless a very private and peaceful location. The water was a bit rough the days we stayed and that made us even more grateful to have chosen a home with a pool (we traveled with our 2 teens). Christopher went above and beyond, helping out with ferry tickets when we hit a snag and then meeting us at the location to walk us through the home. He also recommended a terrific beach horseback ride and a biobay tour operator. The AC in the bedrooms was fantastic, basic amenities were provided, and we had immediate responses when we had questions about WiFi (just needed to reset the router) and the laundry facilities. We didn't find the condition of anything in the home to detract from our stay; saltwater and wind can be challenging. If Christopher constantly replaced worn items, the house would cost twice as much. Highly recommend.

Los Cocos was the perfect getaway for a week. The home sits right on the ocean, and the first thing you notice upon arrival is the soothing sound of the waves. Rene welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The house was spotless and just the right size for the two of us. Inside, the home features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The furniture is comfortable and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed, though we only cooked breakfast. The house has one bathroom, which was in great working order. The two bedrooms are located off the main living space. While there’s no air conditioning, the ocean breeze keeps things comfortable most of the time. One night was particularly still, making it a bit warm for sleeping, but there are plenty of fans to help keep cool. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. There’s ample seating, along with two hammocks. The beach was an incredible bonus—we spent hours relaxing by the water

Location is perfect! We wish we could have stayed here another night. Darla met us up the road so there was no confusion. Checkout time is early but she allowed us to borrow beach towels for the day and use a locker. The large soaking tub was such a treat after a long day of travel. Great stay!

We chose this place because our friend stayed here and loved it. It was everything we hoped it would be. Though we didn't see many people walking, the lodge is only a 7 minute walk (well, hike...it is on a hill) from the ferry terminal. The view is stunning and the lodge is comfortable and clean. We would stay there again.

We are a family of four - we stayed at Vieques for four days. This place was perfect for all our needs. It’s walkable from/to ferry terminal, family market, bank/atm, taxi stand and a bunch of good restaurants. (Scooters etc are not legally available for rent to a group with under-21 members.) We covered a lot of beaches centered from here including the black beach, Caracas, sun beach and la Chiva as well as the biobay trip. The central location helps get taxis at reasonable prices. Lastly the patio is a great place to sit and chill, just looking out at the ocean and sky!

Great location, beautiful cozy place, it was perfect and just what we needed for the night we stayed in Culebra. Wish we could of stayed at least one more day in the Island. This place is exactly as mentioned in the description and a great host with quick response. Would definitely book and stay here again!

We loved our stay at CasaLinda. It was peaceful and beautiful. We loved listening to the ocean. We were there during the full moon and it was amazing. The house had all the amenities we were looking for. Close to town and easy to get to all of the beautiful beaches in Vieques. Denise, Annette and Melyssa we’re fabulous hosts. Very easy to communicate with when needed. We’re looking forward to another visit.

Berto was very helpful. He let us check in early, which was great. He gave me a ride to the car rental place. The place is 2 separate levels. The views are beautiful. Beach waves are strong but if you walk 2 minutes to the left side there is an area what shallow calm waters.
