This accommodation is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the historic city of York , those on business trips or visiting York's universities. Annex has one bedroom, downstairs is the dine-in fully equipped kitchen and downstairs toilet, first floor has the lounge and third floor has the bedroom and bathroom with bath & shower. The annex is in Selby close to A1 and M62. Thirteeen miles from York. Good train links from London, York and across the Pennines. Good bus to York and Designer Outlet park and ride. Church Cottage lies in 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the beautiful village of Escrick, 6 miles from the centre of York. The building dates back to 1850 and is also home to an award-winning Thai restaurant The Old Spa Rooms are situated on the first floor and are self-contained and not shared. This spacious apartment has a bright and airy sitting/dining room with solid bamboo floors and lovely garden views. There's also a separate kitchen, luxury bathroom and large double/twin bedroom.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
