I had two very good nights here. First of all, I had flown all night, arriving at Kochi at 8am, and Arun allowed me to come right to the hotel and check-in, so I was able to get a nap and the day was much better. They allowed me a late checkout too, which was quite helpful with my travel plans. The location was really good. One day I got over to Fort Kochi in about 30 minutes in a tuk tuk and yet I was out of all the tourist craziness there the rest of the time. There are restaurants, banks, cafes, etc. in easy walking distance and it's easy to get a tuk tuk or cab to wherever you want to go. Pretty central. The hotel itself is simple but fine. The air conditioning and fan work well. The bed was a little soft for me, but that's often the case. The shower worked well. For the price, this is an excellent deal.

Had a delightful experience during our stay at High Island. Host was gentle and informative and helpful right from the moment we checked in. The room was compact with all the basic amenities mentioned in the app. Will definitely visit the property again when I come to kochi.
