Rich was an excellent host with great recommendations and prompt communication. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, travelling by train to central London on both days. The location of the bungalow was very quiet with private parking by the house and no passing traffic but only a few minutes' walk from a row of shops and restaurants and the train station. Rich left a wealth of "goodies" in the kitchen for us which was much appreciated.

My family and I had a brilliant two weeks stay at Gareth and Adam's house in Hitchin. Gareth and Adam were both brilliant hosts who made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond our expectations, which made the experience feel more like a five star hotel than an AirBnb. The house is well located, a couple of minutes walk from the train station. We really enjoyed spending the summer evenings in the garden. Highly recommend.

I could write an essay about Ramona‘s place and it would never give it justice. I am an Airbnb super host. However, I very rarely find accommodations that I am willing to stay at on Airbnb in fact for my visit to London I was going to go with specialized service however, when I saw the reviews of Ramona‘s home, I knew that it had to be something special. It truly is. first the house is incredible. Second, Ramona‘s incredible attention to your stay from filling up the refrigerator before arriving to local recommendations to always being available is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced on Airbnb the location is absolutely fantastic. It is less than three minutes from the Heath. It is a 15 minute walk to the absolutely adorable village. There is nothing that you could want that Ramona will not try to help you find or get. the linens in the house are of the highest quality beyond a 5+ star hotel. I can attest that all the past reviews are true.!!! I highly recommend.!

Our stay at this amazing piece of architecture and home was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the thoughtful layout and impressive design. The space was vast and beautifully appointed, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The huge windows were a particular highlight, flooding the house with natural light and providing stunning views. Our daughter spent hours gazing out of them! The garden was another major plus, a true haven for our dog who had the time of his life. A special mention must go to Ester, the owners' friendly dog, who became a wonderful playmate. This house truly felt like a luxurious retreat, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a stylish, spacious, and pet-friendly getaway. We felt at home in Tima’s house. She is friendly and responsive. The place was amazing and a very accurate listing. 5 minutes walk to the river and It has a peaceful neighbourhood. We will come back Again.

Great place to stay while working in the area

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

I stayed at Caroline’s flat for a night with my friend, the flat makes you feel at home , with all essentials to stay for a weekend or couple of more days . Great garden ! Highly recommended.

It was a great place in a great location. We stayed a week, so having a kitchen with some of the basics (salt/pepper/sugar) was a huge plus. It is on a walking street, so from the sitting room/living room you can hear people outside and know you are staying in a fun vibrant neighborhood, but the bedroom is on the other side of the building and was very quiet, so definitely a win-win. We were there in January, so didn’t use the roof deck, but the light from the skylight door outside was a welcome benefit and I’d love to go back in the warmer months and enjoy time outside!! We were 2 people, so the space for a week was fine, but if you did have 4 staying, I would think a weekend would be the max you could do. Hosts were helpful and responsive when we had a question. You’ll likely do so much walking in London that it won’t be a big deal, just know it is a 3rd floor walk-up.

Fijn appartement in rustige straat, maar in een buurt met allerlei voorzieningen (supermarkten, restaurants, veel buslijnen). Het bed in de slaapkamer sliep als een droom! Ezekiel en Henry waren heel attent, er was een uitgebreid pakket met lekkers van wijn tot koekjes en van croissants tot jus d'orange. Ze hadden zelfs na een vraag van ons een koffiezetapparaat geregeld en heel proactief een kacheltje voor in de andere kamer omdat er iets aan de leiding moest gebeuren. Voor de meeste bestemmingen die wij bezochten (Hyde Park, Regent Street, West End) moet je ongeveer 45 minuten reistijd rekenen maar dat is in de dubbeldekkerbussen een beleving op zich. Het appartement is niet heel groot, maar voor ons gezin met twee kinderen zeker voldoende. Ik zou het aanbevelen aan vrienden.

I was down in Hackney for work and had the loveliest stay at Alice’s home. It is such a peaceful area of London with lots of great food places around and easy links into central. Alice’s home is bright and beautifully decorated - it really felt like a “home away from home”. I was blessed with fantastic weather on my trip, so it was great to spend evenings in the garden eating dinner after work. Alice was super helpful and responsive with any of my questions and I will 100% be back here for any future work trips in London. Thank you :)

Very peaceful place, hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Well appointed place they had thought of everything one might need for a relaxing stay.

Great lodge, small and beautiful. Garden was massive and things to do for children. Warm inside and beds was very comfortable, such a lovely relaxing lodge. Host was amazing was available to communicate and was happy for me to have my hen ladies there. Only 1 annoying part was the dirt road leading up too gate. As u wouldnt realise to go up it.. easy to miss. BUT still 10/10.. cant wait to go back for a nice night away.

We had a wonderful time and the pods were amazing, well kept and modern within a small but cute wooden frame. The area is gated and on a farm thus is lovely and peaceful, we will definitely be going back to try one of the other pods with an upstairs for our children. If you want a peaceful family get away or base this is perfect. If you like Glamping and like cute designed pods this will be perfect for you.

Great accommodation, really enjoyed the stay. Host was super helpful, even with our random request for an additional throw. Will definitely be back again.

I have already booked to go back again for two weeks in June, that's how lovely this place is. Beautiful location, set on its own, on a farm, lovely and quiet with stunning outlook. The wood burner was very popular, Christine had already set it up ready for our arrival. Didn't get around to using the BBQ or Firepit Very comfy bed made it difficult to get up in the morning zzzz Thanks Christine and Mark for making us welcome.

Amanda was the perfect host for a wonderful property. We loved the fully fenced and well maintained yard, a secluded hot tub, and the great gated area. The house was equipped with all necessities. We visited the nearby pubs which were all very welcoming with great ales and food. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a romantic escape. There was so much to enjoy right at the accommodation—the aqua centre was a real treat, and we had great fun relaxing in the snooker room. The space was clean, cosy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to couples looking for a romantic and relaxing stay in a unique location.

We came here to rest and recharge. With two teenagers and two dogs, had an amazing time in cabin 2 with its beautiful surroundings. The cabin was gorgeous, really clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, cozy and surprisingly spacious living space. Oh and the shower room felt like I was in a spa! The hamper was a lovely touch, with eggs from the farm and proper milk in a glass bottle (big thumbs up from me), yummy lemon drizzle cake, and more. Plenty of essentials. Everything was really well detailed in a handbook. Very comfortable sleep and didn't get woken up by the cows, or any other farm animals. The hot tub was such a treat. Took us quite a while to heat it up the first day, but it was well worth the wait, and is well insulated so day two was much quicker. Felt very safe and the garden was large and secure. Very, very dog friendly. Will definitely come again and have recommended it already to friends and family. Thank you and looking forward to visiting again xx

A simple, bright, spacious and immaculately clean studio in a peaceful setting. The village is quaint with many quiet walks and easy access to Cambridge and Saffron Walden. Elmdon also offers an opportunity to see great examples of the regions vernacular architecture, including thatched roofs, decorative pargeting, flintwork and timber framing. It's evident that hosting means more to Fiona than just money. It was a warming experience and we certainly hope to stay here again when we're back in the area.
