Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Red Fish Riviera

Come enjoy this cozy home on the back waters of the Pamlico Sound. This classic cottage built in 1848 is full of character and comfort. Nestled on an acre of land, this private home provides the perfect setting to relax and escape. Fish off the dock, walk through the back yard in the high grass and cast your line or drop a crab pot. Listen to the birds from the screened back porch. Use the canoe to get yourself to the mouth of the sound in no time. Lastly, the sunsets are amazing!

"R's Cabin" on Lake Mattamuskeet

Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Pamlico Lodge In The Fishing Village of Engelhard

Pamlico Lodge is located on our family's farm and is centrally located close to all the OBX attractions. Tranquility as you enjoy farm life visiting with our cows and horses in the pasture or our chickens in the backyard and our sweet pigs that are down the street. Enjoy a meal outside using our picnic area and toast marshmallows at our fire pit while the horses and cows will come up to the fence to visit. Pamlico Sound is a tenth of a mile and Lake Mattamuskeet is approximately three miles.

Betty’s Bungalow

Betty’s Bungalow Is located 4 miles south of Columbia on Levels Road. You can enjoy walking around the farm, the quiet Levels community, or along the boardwalk in the picturesque town of Columbia. There is ample parking for boats and horse trailers. Pasture board is available for the equestrian enthusiasts for a nominal fee. When out and about, be sure to visit the Columbia Museum and the visitor center and learn about the history of Columbia.
