Our shipping container home offers BIG living in a tiny space, also MASSAGES BY APPOINTMENT by a LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST (a rate of $85/hour). All you need for a great vacation at your fingertips. Step out of the busy world and enjoy some peace and quiet at Green Acres. Though we like kids, our property is "not suitable for little ones". Our container home is small, cozy, and designed for couples or singles, wanting to relax, while just a short drive from restaurants and casino entertainment.

Cozy Country Cottage

Come stay in our ​cozy cottage located down a country lane. Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy hiking and relaxing in our secluded oak forest. We have 1 mile of wooded walking trails. You are 5 minutes from Alberta Creek Marina and Catfish Bay on beautiful Lake Texoma. The new west Bay Casino and restaurant at Catfish Bay is open for business. Sip coffee while you sit in the hot tub or enjoying the fire pit. Cabin is cozy, sleeps 4, full kitchen, bath and laundry. You are off the grid. Time to breath. We are NOT pet friendly

Stay in our 1927 Caboose. It has everything you need for your trip. You will have free Wi-Fi to cozy up on the couch or sip free coffee/ tea outside around the fire. Play with the goats, feed the chickens and pig, or pet the horse. 5 minutes to a Winery, within 30 miles to 3 Casinos, 31 miles to Buc-ee's, and a little over an hour to Dallas. There is a full size bed, a full size futon couch, and foldout foam cushion if you need extra. Ruku TV, and plenty of table top and drawers to spread out luggage. Brick patio out front to sit and relax. Driveway in front. Fishing guides pick you up on way to boat ramp.
