It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. Recently refurbished to a luxury and cosy standard, this home from home makes a great base to explore the Kingdom of Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more and placed to access to the Fife Pilgrim Way. Our Townhouse was commissioned in 1875 by local legend and world-famous, Andrew Carnegie and has been stylishly converted into a bright and modern home.

'Silverknowes Suite' is a small, newly renovated, light and airy ground floor studio with own front door, kitchenette and ensuite. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within 5 minutes walk to bus routes to the city centre and 10 minutes to the airport bus stop. By car, the city can be reached in 15 minutes. There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.

Historic Coach House in Edinburgh City Centre

Location, location, location! Set in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town, this historic coach house , located behind the famous Oxford Bar in Ian Rankin's 'Rebus' novels. Edinburgh's main attractions, are all within walking distance from the house. 20min walk to the Edinburgh Castle Cocktail bars/restaurants and international shops are to be found on George Street which is round the corner from the house. Comfortably sleeping 4, enjoy the space of a historic house in the town.

The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Sole occupancy of this home. Freshly decorated to a high standard with colourful soft furnishings. Modern appliances but with a cosy atmosphere. All rooms are sunny and bright with a pleasant outlook. Arthur Seat and Portobello Beach within walking distance. Bus stop right outside on street taking you into the city within 10 minutes.
