This 1927 Silkstone Cottage has 2 fully screened bedrooms, with king, queen bed & sofa bed in lounge. Light filled living area & functional kitchen make this home as comfortable as its original features original including windows and fittings. Some elements reflect the home’s age and character. Guests seeking perfection may prefer a newer build. Minutes from Silkstone Village and Ipswich central including hospitals and shopping centres with easy access to public transport and major roads.

Bee house

This unique place has a style all its own. A lovely garden with hot tub to explore, chickens with fresh eggs on hand, beehives with access to some fresh honey, lovely friendly dogs who will happily enjoy a game of fetch and tug of war. Train station is just a 2 minute walk from the house. Across the road you have a takeaway shop with great burgers and a little fruit and veg shop with lots of great prices. If you can’t sleep and want a naughty treat the 7/11 is also just across the road.

Guest house

The cottage is completely separate from the main house on a half-acre block in Karana Downs 28 kms to Brisbane CBD or 12 kms to Ipswich CBD. It is fully self-contained, modern, airy, quiet and peaceful. It has a full kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area and one double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with safety railings. The cottage has two split system air conditioners and two ceiling fans. It has a large private covered verandah on 2 sides and undercover parking for one car.
