Fun at the Beach Private Home

A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Bay Breeze Beach House

This charming beach house is located in the heart of beautiful Tawas City, walking distance to Shoreline Park Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, laundromat, bike and kayak rentals. If you are looking for a comfortable yet exciting vacation spot, Patti's Getaway is your place. In 2018, Patti's Getaway has been remodeled. Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

Please be courteous as this is a special piece of family property. Our place is close to outdoor activities, nature, 15-minute drive to local beaches. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors, location, relaxation & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. Please take note of directions to home, sometimes GPS is incorrect. Also, special reminder of drinking water if wanted, as house has well water. We have added Wi-Fi to the house and an exterior camera.

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your use. This is a great place for families to gather. You will have the entire place to yourself to enjoy. This is a neighborhood and the homes are close together. Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep the noise down and respect their property.

The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away.
