Perfect place

I needed a quiet location where I could have some assistance when needed and to be able to come and go when I needed to. There was always someone there to help if I needed it and my daughter and I felt we could relax when we needed to do that too.

A lovely, peaceful, bijoux place to stay in the stunning village of Firle. The only sounds were the church bells and birdsong. We stayed here while taking part in Potfest SE ceramic Fair held at Glynde Place. It was such a perfect location and peaceful retreat for this.

We had one night at Allison’s place and had a lovely time. Everything was how it was described and looked like the pictures. The beautiful secluded garden with garden chairs and loungers were perfect to relax on. Highly recommend Alison’s place.

We had a great weekend and the property was ideally situated to visit a number of National Trust properties and the coast. We enjoyed sitting in Claire’s beautiful garden and she was happy to help with any queries we had.

Lovely , comfortable ,well planned accomodation in peaceful surroundings A real home from home , equipped with everything you need Unfortunately the WiFi did not connect , so I had to sit on the owners patio to connect to theirs. Short term this worked out ok, and wouldn't put me off returning . Mary and Simon were very personable , and the ease of a comfortable cabin with it's covered terrace and far reaching views made it an enjoyable stay.

What a lovely accommodation, and Vivienne was super friendly and helpful. Vivienne met us on check in, showed us the accommodation and gave some recommendations for food and walks. We had plentiful food for breakfast and a well equipped kitchen so we could make dinner too. The bed was comfortable, the heating works well (although we visited during warm weather we barely used it).

Lovely weekend break away. The accommodation was ideal, beautifully presented, comfortable and in lovely surroundings. Jessica had provided plenty of additional bits like breakfast cereals, fresh loaf of bread, milk, preserves and not forgetting two wonderful slices of home made cake! Lovely barn conversion near Burwash. Spacious, stylish and clean with good facilities like the kitchen and TV. Paul was super friendly and welcoming, with great local tips and even an Easter bunny. Near to great National Trust locations, the cuckoo trail as well as some good restaurants. Bear in mind you’ll need a car to get around! Would definitely stay again!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s a beautiful spot, very peaceful and with a lovely view of a very well kept garden. Everything was so immaculately clean when we arrived, it looked brand new! Helpful and clear visitors guide too! Eleanor was a dream host, she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Great Stay! Thank you! It was the perfect hub to explore the local area, well equipped, clean & tidy Just perfect for a weekend getaway. The garden was lovely for the dogs to enjoy and for us to sit and have that morning coffee and glass of wine in the evenings was bliss, with beautiful views. I am hoping to return soon, this time for longer!

Me and my partner booked this cute little Annexe for our weekend break away and were delighted with our stay! The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed, and we had everything we needed for a short visit. Joanna was really friendly and welcoming, chatting to us about daily plans and offering to be available if there was anything more we needed - we could not have asked for a better host! We were in the heart of the village, with a little teashop nearby for lunches and cakes, and a pub up the street for the evening drinks. It was very easy to get to Rye when visiting in the day, just a 10/15 minute drive away. We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Appledore or Rye!

Thank you for being great hosts. The Swallow Lodge was spotless, peaceful and had all amenities as mentioned. The welcome basket was really appreciated. We will be back again.

Mae & Judy’s place was a heavenly haven, tucked away in the hills overlooking Hastings seafront, and a 15 min walk from the wonders of the Old Town. It had everything we needed, plus having the option of amazing food on site the weekend we stayed, added to the hassle free vibes. We were woken up with birdsong every day, and enjoyed the foxy visitors to the garden too. Coming from the city, this was just the peaceful retreat we needed. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We had a really wonderful stay at Little Batchelors, which is in a beautiful location. The house was really lovely, peaceful, spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed. A perfect stay with a baby also. Thank you Matt and Nicky.

We really enjoyed our stay, lovley and clean with a most relaxing hot tub after a days cycling. A gorgeous pub 1 minute walk away with delicious food then back for a cosy log burner. The only thing that could be added would be some dressing gowns for getting in/out of the hot tub. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope we will return again in the near future.

Fantastic cottage to visit and explore the local Area, which was new to us. The cottage had everything possible you needed to be comfortable and relaxed. It was very peaceful, private and set in beautiful gardens. Avril was great to deal with from start to finish - we thoroughly recommend staying here !

Zara is an amazing host, who I couldn’t recommend more highly. The property was really tidy and very comfortable - if you’re looking for a place in the Rolvenden area, this is the place to stay

Emma was an exceptional host who made our stay truly memorable. The property was exactly as depicted in the photos. The garden was particularly stunning and added a special charm to our experience. Emma and her husband went above and beyond with their hospitality, making themselves available and offering assistance whenever needed. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything necessary for cooking, and the thoughtful welcome basket was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend Emma's place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with attentive hosts who genuinely care about their guests' experience.

Had a wonderful week at the Pump House Annex. Tina & Simon were excellent hosts and really had thought of everything and more to make a stay here easy, comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

This is a great place to stay. You’re staying in the middle of the countryside, talking to the sheep but within 10 minutes you’re in the middle of Hawkhurst with great shops/supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Try the Prince of Kent for an excellent Indian or walk 25 minutes to the best Sunday roast at The Eight Bells. Anna is an excellent host; friendly, communicative and nothing is too much trouble. The Easter eggs and chocolate biscuits were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The house was exactly as described. We will DEFINITELY be back, especially for a cuddle with the friendliest moggies in Hawkhurst. 🐈‍⬛

The cabin is in a truly beautiful location. There is so much to do- there are outdoor play items, kayaks and pedaloes, which the kids loved. There are lovely dog walks from the doorstep, great pubs a short drive away. Pett level is 5 mins drive away and Hastings very close. The cabin is well stocked and comfortable, and rustic in a way very suitable to the location. Shawn is friendly and helpful but discrete so you have plenty of privacy. We loved our stay here.

We had a lovely, friendly welcome when we first arrived to this cozy getaway spot in the middle of the forest. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need for a little weekend away, or longer. We spent 3 nights here and felt right at home. The space was a comfortable size with a lovely balcony area to enjoy the afternoon sun with views of the garden and woodland beyond, with a really comfy bed to rest after long walks in the surrounding forest. My husband and I had a lovely time away and we would definitely recommend staying here.

It was my girlfriend’s birthday and we were gifted a birthday cake, along with croissants and biscuits. The stay was also relaxing and quiet, with a clean environment and comfortable bed.
