The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

** Note - This wonderful northwoods cabin rents for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights. ** Your own private guest cabin on 6 private acres overlooking crystal clear Big Portage Lake. Sand beach, canoes, kayak, great lake views! Refrig, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, but no kitchen (great restaurants nearby). Come and go as you please. Cozy Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake

Relax with family and friends on peaceful Sunset Lake. Enjoy swimming, fishing, napping, sun bathing on the beach, reading or just plain relaxing on the large deck, at the shore or in the screen porch. Ask about our pontoon boat rental. Enjoy autumn colors, biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ATV trails throughout the area. Full scribed log cabin is freshly remodeled with new appliances and mattresses.
