Accessible within minutes to the city of Scottsboro in North Alabama, major shopping center, restaurants, nearby tourist attraction, boat ramps for fishing tournament, the famous “Unclaimed Baggage Center”,State Parks and Caverns, Waterfalls, the great outdoors and more. Renovated in June 2025, to include a full kitchen, this quiet, wooded property is .5 miles from DeSoto Falls, 7 miles from the Mentone town center, .5 miles from Shady Grove Dude Ranch, and adjacent to Fernwood of Mentone. The properties of Mountain Laurel Inn lie on the outskirts of DeSoto State Park, and offer easy access to trails and hiking.

Mountain Lake Escape

This is a mother in law suite that is located right at the foot of Lookout Mountain and just in front of Weiss Lake. Here you are less than a mile from a public boat access. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The suite sets just above our attached garage that you will have a parking space in to keep you out of the weather. It has its own door and is separate from the main house.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. I have been a Super Host for 3 other properties in Huntsville so you will not be disappointed !!!! Looking forward for your stay on Lake Guntersville in Scotsboro Alabama!!!

Free EV charger in premises, plenty parking even if you have a fishing boat . ! Absolutely no smoking in the house if you have to smoke you can do it outside.!

Drive 4 miles to downtown Chattanooga to enjoy some of the best restaurants, art and music in the south, and then retreat to our one-room, tiny cabin on a private two acre wooded lot on the side of Lookout Mountain. Walk out the front door and onto Glenn Falls trail and explore the year-round majesty of Lookout Mountain. 10 minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls.
