Stayed in the Squirrel Nest on a quick mid week getaway up North to make use of the good weather. The stay was fantastic, the decor in the cottage was brilliant and the hot tub as advertised was good too. The hosts have clearly put a lot of effort and thought into the little extra things provided. There was coffee machine, coffee pods and milk provided, dressing gowns/bath robes , a portable speaker for music which we used and a guest Netflix account to name a few. These little extra touch’s just helped to add up to a great stay. We only stayed one night but would happily have spent longer and will hopefully we will be back in the future. Ryan & Kathryn

Fabulous property in a great location. Short walk to the local shop. Great base for exploring Donegal. Highly recommend. Helen is a great host. Will definitely be back.

Wow what a beautiful place!! It felt so homely and had everything you needed and more. The cabin itself is tastefully decorated and very clean but just under the sofa cushions someone had left sweets and the bunk beds were very squeaky and swayed but I’ve reported these things to Laura as she is not based on site. The area was super peaceful. There is a kids park, a great tennis court and basketball court but unfortunately there was nowhere to access equipment to use so if you are into this take some with you. There was no reception, or convenience shop and the cafe/restaurant on site wasn’t open (probably is during peak times). There is a Centra in Moville and Laura kindly recommended restaurants just 10minutes down the road and they did not disappoint. The communication from Laura was first class and we were just sorry we were not staying longer. It’s an ideal spot to travel round Inishowen and the beach across the road was an added bonus. We will be back. +++AAA

We had a great stay. Bungalow was excellent with plenty of space. Well located for walks and as i had my dog with me, plenty of places to explore. Definitely recommend Bayview Hotel for a meal and breakfast in the dog friendly Bilberry Mill cafe in Bushmills is a must. Lovely walk into Bushmills by the old railway line which you access from Bushfoot golf club. Weather wasn't good enough to use the veranda, but it would be great when weather warmer. Well located to explore North Coast.

We had an unexpected family emergency and find this jam. Family had to travel in from a couple of different countries and the host was so flexible and so helpful. We love this place and will stay here again. Great views great space for having to work clean functional a hidden jam. Thanks so much.

communication before and during our trip was excellent. Our host went above and beyond for us..not only was homemade sodabread, Jam and the basic necessities available we arrived to Easter buns too. one of our children had a yearning for mango pepsi which he'd tasted before in NI and several trips and phonecalls by our host were made to try find him a can! we arrived to a cosy fire lit by him and he offered many occasions to light it and got the snooker room ready for us which was a great hit with the kids. lovely space outside to play and even enjoy the Easter egg hunt. our sleeping arrangements were great...privacy for parents and plenty of space to sleep for 4 kids if the sofa bed is used. all said they slept well in comfortable beds. I would recommend staying here ..great base for Strangford lough...Newtownards and Newcastle for climbing Slieve Donard. thankyou hosts!

We are a family of 4 who stayed at Matthew & Shelley's cottage with our dog Bailey. Matthew & Shelley were so helpful prior to, during and after our stay ended. The cottage is beautiful, warm and cosy and the hot tub is fabulous and was well used. The location of the cottage is extremely convenient to all the tourist locations in Northern Ireland such as the Giants Causeway and beautiful coastal route. We all loved our stay and would love to go back to such a welcoming house and so dog friendly

Great location. Lovely views of Lough Foyle, Magilligan Point and can even see Mussenden Temple & Downhill Beach. Apartment is very spacious and cosy & well heated. Eoghan is a great host and was very helpful. We would stay again.

Beautiful place in a secluded area of Ballycastle - a short walk to everything. Clean and had everything you could need. Some lovely little touches like flowers and chocolates eggs for Easter :) thanks Una!
