Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

It is a lovely, newly furbished, fresh, bright property with a private garden nestled beside woodland and located in the countryside. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge or explore and enjoy the areas nearby. Birnie Cottage is a self catering property which has its own hedged, private garden, an open fire and woodland walks, and is situated on the A926, roughly half way between Kirriemuir in Angus, and Blairgowrie in Perthshire - an ideal location for touring both of these beautiful counties and beyond. Birnie has no additional fees, is very dog friendly and your pets stay free of charge. The cottage also has its own social media page to keep you up to date with what to do and where to eat locally.
