Cosy shepherd's hut with stunning views on NC 500

Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It can sleep up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth to enjoy. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the dark sky at night is excellent for star gazing. Red Kites frequently fly overhead.

My place is close to Inverness, the buzzing hub of the Highlands. Also has great views & access to cycle routes, Lands end to John O'Groats and NC500. We recommend a car to gain the most of tourist attractions such as Dolphin Watching, Battle of Culloden & Loch Ness. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the views, the people. You also get private parking & your own front door key; so you can come & go as you please. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and pets.

You can expect a warm welcome when you stay with us. After parking in our small driveway or in the road outside for larger cars, you’ll enter through the outside seating area. The conservatory has a breakfast preparation area, with kettle, coffee maker, toaster and fridge. This area also has a dining table and chairs. Continental style breakfast is provided. Upstairs you’ll find a double bedroom with tv and adjacent shower room. You have sole use of all facilities during your stay.

Sealladh Dubh

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. Both Nairn and Dornoch golf courses are within an hours drive. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance.

The Cabin is an open plan, newly built unit with hot tub, set in its own private grounds with ample parking. With stunning views of Ben Wyvis, we are on the NC500 route and also close to plenty amenities including golf courses, many beautiful walks and restaurants. The accommodation comprises of one king size bed, a double-sofa bed, electric heating, electric stove, luxurious shower room and a welcome basket with local produce. No smoking indoors, pet friendly on request.

Hidden Gem, delightful log Cabin near NC500

Relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife at this unique location, secluded amongst scots pine and birch trees with stunning views, close to the NC 500 and also right on the door step of a Corbet and a Munro for hill walking. There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. Or just cosy up inside and listen to music on Alexa or watch movies on Netflix, or just dine out and relax on the decking with a glass of wine.

Cosy, modern barn conversion on a Black Isle Farm

'The Tractor Shed' is a renovated 1860's steading situated on a small farm on the Black Isle just a mile off the A9 and NC500 route. The cosy house sits in the centre of the farmyard. We have great views over Ben Wyvis and the hills to the west. A peaceful, quirky place to stay in the rural countryside yet not too far from Inverness and other local attractions such as Loch Ness and Culloden. Red Hut 500

This wood lined hut is set in a beautiful rural location with a pond and surrounded by wildlife. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this peaceful and relaxing setting. Hot tub hire is available but this must be booked separately. We need to know in advance if you require the hot tub so that it is ready for use when you arrive. We charge £50 per night for the hot tub with a minimum of 2 nights. The hot tub needs to be paid for on arrival
