The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

There is also a large private decking area with its very own wood fired hot tub and barbecue, all wood supplied.

Just off the A711, located 1 mile from the village of Beeswing and 5 miles from Dumfries town centre and 6 miles from Dalbeattie on the Solway coastal tourist driving route.
