Clenaghans - Self-catering Stone Cottage

Located in idyllic Northern Irish countryside, Clenaghan's cottages are situated on the site of an over 250 year old farmyard. Boasting 6 cottages in total, each has been converted to a high specification with modern facilities including high-speed internet & wide-screen televisions. Every apartment has its own living area, kitchen, bedroom and en-suite. You'll arrive to a generously stocked fridge with welcome pack including everything you need to make your own Ulster Fry in the morning as well as bread, milk, cheese and more. Also on site is the award-winning Clenaghan's Restaurant which opens Wednesday to Sunday. Just 5 minutes drive away is the quaint Moira village, which has no shortage of bars, restaurants & cafes for you to peruse. Moira is beside the Northern Ireland M1 Motorway (Junction 9) between Lurgan and Lisburn. Belfast is a 25 minute drive by car and is accessible from Moira Train Station, a 5 minute drive away.

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Still with its original external features while modernised inside for a relaxing stay. The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, fire pit and paddle boards whilst experiencing breathtaking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Thoughtfully designed cottage, part of owner's main house but self-contained when guests are staying. Lake to the rear, mountains out front.
