This home was incredibly peaceful and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. I loved the proximity to the Twin Cities, yet we felt like we were in another land with how quiet and accommodating the location was for a weekend gathering. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen, and extremely cozy. The river view was just spectacular, and the east facing home meant stunning sunrises. The bald eagles were out in great numbers and our bonfire by the river was truly magical. We loved exploring the small towns on both the MN and WI side of the river and felt like we were going home at the end of a day of exploring. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunny Saturday, but this home would be gorgeous in any weather with all the natural light. The host is very responsive and she made our family gathering with my adult children one of my treasured memories this year. I would not hesitate to make Frontenac a vacation destination and this home is truly a rare gem among the many options.

Colleen was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with, and typically responded to messages within 30 minutes. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We are a family of 9 adults and 4 small children that live in Washington; and met in Chippewa Falls to celebrate our son's 31st birthday. Colleen's Airbnb was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a family gathering. It's hard to put into words how lovely this home and property were. Everything about this home was high end: the kitchen was complete with every possible appliance ; the finishings and furniture were tasteful and high quality; the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and comforters. The 4 bathrooms all had showers/tubs. The setting of the home was lovely, and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our time spent inside and out. We enjoyed the fire pit, the playset and walking on the frozen lake. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a great long weekend at Jeana’s cabin! We were expecting it to be a bit more secluded, and were hoping to let our dog off leash but there were lots of other cabins and people around us so we weren’t able to do that. Other than that though, everything was perfect! Communication from our host was great!

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

We had a great time - the place was clean and well appointed, as well as stylish. We enjoyed the hot tub, the gorgeous views, and the little porch with the hanging egg chairs. We definitely would love to come back in the summer and get on the lake too! Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

Black Swan properties are amazing and Becky is an incredible host. Everything is as described and was perfect, and our family of five enjoyed every aspect of our visit. You won't find better accomodations in the Rochester area.

The views out the front windows were probably the best part of this place. I LOVED waking up in the morning to see the river, flocks of various kinds of birds, barges and the occasional train. We had all the amenities we needed, plenty of beds (we had 6 teen girls that LOVED being able to sleep in the same room upstairs with the twins and rollaway), and although there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, there there are plenty of options for cute towns and lots of hiking nearby. We chose to go into Winona and do the Sugar Loaf hike, then got ice cream and shopped in town. After checking out, we hit Stockholm, WI, which was also enjoyable. Everyone in our crew loved this place. Greg was super responsive (and patient with me asking about the Wifi...I realized later it was already in his instructions). Great experience!

This is a fun lodging with all the little extras. Thoughtful design, great view, and clean.
