Located in the countryside close to Bansha village (near Kilshane House) and minutes from some of Ireland's best hiking, the cottage is a little over an hour from Shannon or Cork airports, and two from Dublin. The perfect retreat for small families, friend trips, those home to visit or relocating.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

It is situated 12km from the famed Rock of Cashel and is centrally located for touring Ireland. There is a shop and pub 3km away and beautiful restaurants in Cashel and Tipperary town. We are in very close proximity to the Glen of Aherlow which plays host to beautiful scenery and hill walks. If traditional music is your thing then it can be found in abundance in many pubs locally.

This 1 bed cottage has all the mod cons you need for a relaxing stay and is located c.2km from the village of Bansha . It is also less than 10mins to the towns of Cahir and Tipperary and under 15mins to the historic town of Cashel. It is also less than 5 mins drive to the famous wedding venue, Kilshane House.

There is also a private courtyard and garden.

200 year old cottage in a rural setting 25 minutes from Limerick City. A convenient stopover between east and west coasts, and a good base for visiting the Rock of Cashel, King John’s Castle, Adare and Bunratty. Or as a destination in itself if you want to see how they lived long ago and want a few quiet days away. The house still has the old mud walls and thatched roof, but has been upgraded to suit twenty-first century living.
