The Casita is a separate building next to our home. Its unique design with saltilo tile and natural stone kitchen gives it lots of character. You will enjoy a private bedroom and separate living space. Close to Orfila winery, and San Diego's incredible wine region. You will have a private patio with access from french doors in your unit. There is a bbq and pool in our shared back yard space, available for our guests only, upon request. This space is not offered for parties, or gatherings, sorry.

The guesthouse is attached to the MAIN home, but it has a private entrance with a private driveway and your own auto gate. It has an outdoor private spa, 1 closed and 1 open floor plan bedroom, patio, kitchen, walk-in closet with 1 bath. The facilities include fast WiFi, 75” 4KTV, cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator etc. 15 mins SD Safari & 30 mins to sea world or LEGOLAND

Enjoy this private 1,050 sq ft 2BR/2BA lower-level suite on our secluded 1-acre hillside estate in San Marcos. Features a private patio with beautiful mountain views, renovated bathrooms, a convenient kitchenette, and an in-unit laundry room (no living room). Hosts live upstairs (the home pictured is sub divided entirely with no shared living spaces). The saltwater pool and spa are shared with the detached guest house 100 ft away, which can also be rented separately (inquire with hosts)

The Horizon Dome

Our dome is a half-moon structure that features a king-size memory foam bed and an outdoor shower under a pepper tree, while the deck provides stunning views of the hilltop. We're located in a gated community close to all major attractions, and guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets, starry skies, ocean breeze, and bird watching (21 different kinds). The dome is 200 sqft with AC/heater, an outhouse (composting toilet), and outdoor showers, making it a perfect choice for glamping.

Creekside Studio (private entrance)

Creekside Studio is a cozy, well equipped, private yet centrally located studio retreat in South Escondido. It is on a 1-acre, quiet cul-de-sac lot, attached to the main house (our residence), with it’s own private entrance. The studio has a small kitchenette (no stove), a queen size bed and a twin sleeper/couch and a bathroom with shower (no tub). Roku TV, free-WiFi keep you entertained or hang out on the deck with your coffee in a park-like setting.

A-Frame in the Clouds

Remote A-Frame off-grid cabin with expansive ocean and mountain views. On a clear day, enjoy an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean. The A-Frame is located in a former avocado grove that is slowly being re-established with diverse permaculture. Everything is provided for cooking and eating, as well as a hot shower and composting toilet. The bed will be made for you with clean bedding.

Craftsman style 1-BR in Historic Old Escondido

Enjoy a relaxing visit to this recently built guest house in our backyard. We custom designed it in a historic style to complement our 1924 Craftsman home. Located just a few short blocks from Grand Avenue, we hope you'll walk downtown to discover the coffee shops, bars, restaurants, antique stores, and the always delicious Escogelato!
