The Carriage - A first class experience

The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Built in 1838, originally an outbuilding for a Methodist Chapel which has undergone a full renovation and conversion into a quirky 1 bedroom house which is filled with amazing features and full of character! A modern take on a historic building, keeping some of the original heritage but with a modern contemporary feel! The ideal getaway location for a relaxed break near the lakes, with local amenities. Hidden Haven - a recently renovated 1 bed apartment nestled in the heart of the historic harbour town of Whitehaven. This cosy first floor apartment overlooks a picturesque park, offering a relaxing base from which to explore. Whitehaven boasts some excellent visitor attractions, specialist shops, bars & restaurants which are all within easy walking distance, as is the marina - the official starting point for the C2C cycle tour. Ideally located to explore the beautiful Lake District.

West View Beach House - Cumbrian Coast

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Rosebank Cottage, Dean, Cumbria

Rosebank Cottage is a 2 bedroom cosy cottage with a stylish modern interior, situated in the small rural village of Dean, Cumbria. The cottage is in a ideal location to explore the fells and lakes of The English Lake District. Rosebank cottage sits in a peaceful village next door to the quaint village pub "The Royal Yew" and offers country walks from the doorstep, whilst offering tranquility, style with all of the home comforts that you would expect.

19th century barn conversion

Come and explore the lesser known and much quieter part of the Lake District. No long traffic queues and parking is much easier. Superb views of the surrounding countryside, Irish Sea and the Lake District Mountains. This accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Ideally located for walking, mountain biking, kayaking, golf or walks on the beach all within a short drive.

Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.

Home in Cumbria

Our property is in the Western Lake District and set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has been designed with the explorer in mind, to use a base to discover the surrounding areas. The stunning lakes of Loweswater, Crummock and Buttermere are all approx 20 minutes drive. Keswick being about 35 mins away. The towns of Whitehaven with it's historic harbour and Workington are approx 15 minutes

Skiddaw Mire House

Skiddaw is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes Glamping to a new level. Head outside to the private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or a soak in the hot tub reading a good book.
