Forest Retreat Studio for like-hearted nature folk

A simple & minimal self-contained studio under the main residential house that doubles as a healing room when not on Airbnb. Share in the beauty of Feathertail Nature Refuge, a unique property of high ecological value; 22 acres of protected land only 25kms west of Brisbane, backing onto the southern end of D'Aguilar Range NP. This place is for easy-going nature lovers who appreciate the simple things, can live without screen time, & yearn to remember their human 'beingness' amongst the trees.

Bee house

This unique place has a style all its own. A lovely garden with hot tub to explore, chickens with fresh eggs on hand, beehives with access to some fresh honey, lovely friendly dogs who will happily enjoy a game of fetch and tug of war. Train station is just a 2 minute walk from the house. Across the road you have a takeaway shop with great burgers and a little fruit and veg shop with lots of great prices. If you can’t sleep and want a naughty treat the 7/11 is also just across the road.

Guest house

The cottage is completely separate from the main house on a half-acre block in Karana Downs 28 kms to Brisbane CBD or 12 kms to Ipswich CBD. It is fully self-contained, modern, airy, quiet and peaceful. It has a full kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area and one double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with safety railings. The cottage has two split system air conditioners and two ceiling fans. It has a large private covered verandah on 2 sides and undercover parking for one car.

The house is part of a small complex with the owners living onsite. House: Renovated Queenslander with secure undercover garage. It accommodates up to 5 guests. Kitchen: Fully equipped: fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine. Dining room has a large table and accommodates 6 guests. Indooroopilly shopping centre, Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens and Lookout are only 20 min away. 10 min to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, bike and walking tracks. Coffee just mins away as is the local pub and steak-house. Totally tranquil environment exclusively yours for a night, weekend or however long you wish to stay. This facility is fully equipped, private and situated in 3 acres of lovely grounds.

Delightful rustic cabin situated on a one acre property conveniently located close to major amenities such as Orion shopping complex; Robelle parklands and lagoon; train stations; motorways - yet surrounded by serenity -with abundant trees, bird life and possums. Down the end of the property you can watch horses being fed and ridden. Enjoy the outdoors in the fresh air and sun.

NOTE: You will be staying in a self-contained cottage next to the main house. But Please advise that there is another accommodation being rented out nearby.
