If it's retail therapy Oxford (27 mins) has lot's to offer including the fabulous Bicester Village (33 mins)

This quintessential Cotswold cottage is located in the heart of an idyllic village just outside of Bampton & 4 miles from Burford. Located 1.5 hours from London, the cottage is perfect for those seeking a charming Cotswolds getaway. Constructed c.1847, it retains many original features including wonderful beams and stone walls. More recently it has been extensively and sympathetically renovated to a high standard, decorated with a thoughtful mix of contemporary & chic antique furnishings.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. Vibrant East Oxford has some of the best restaurants and cafes. We are a short walk from Magdalen Bridge, the Botanical Gardens, punting and the historic city centre.
