Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from ring road no 1 by road 208. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute's drive from us. Please note; that due to a problem with our address in the Airbnb system, the location of our cabin G-24 is not correct on the Airbnb map. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions. Free car charging.

The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.
