You'll have my self-contained house in Fitzgerald to yourselves. It is modern and family-friendly. It's 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. Less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

The Blue Wren’s Nest

Opened in November 2022 the Blue Wren’s Nest is a unique and tranquil getaway. A pet friendly venue, the property is set high above the Huon River with beautiful landscape views. This boutique cottage is part of a 49 acre orchard property with apple and cherry trees. Visitors are welcome to sample the fruits in season and wander the beautiful home garden. May Cottage is a comfortable, cosy cottage nestled in beautiful Mountain River in the Huon Valley, with stunning views of Sleeping Beauty. The cottage is on a 2 acre family property, with easy access and ample parking. Although situated 50m away, the main house is well out of sight. The cottage features a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and sunny verandahs. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests (see description below) 12 minutes to Huonville 30 minutes to Hobart
