There are a considerable amount of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking and ATV trails. Our central location is an ideal base to explore the San Luis Valley.

This is a cute little carriage house that was fully remodeled in 2016. It has one bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for a total of 4 guests, also a full bathroom and Kitchen. Nearby amenities are Wolf Creek Ski Area, Penitente Canyon climbing, biking and hiking, Del Norte for mtn biking and hiking, Monte Vista Crane Festival, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Hot Springs Pools, hundreds of miles of ATV/Motorcycle riding and thousands of acres of National Forest to explore!

Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. No TV. Monte Vista is a small rural town.

Riverside Ranch House

This beautiful home is located in the outskirts of the small town of Del Norte, CO. The house itself sits on a small river side ranch mainly used for grazing cattle. With roughly 70 acres of wide open fields, and nearly a 1/4 mile of river front property, the views do not disappoint. The Riverside Ranch House is located not far from local mountain biking/ hiking and OHV trails for any one with recreational interests.

Del Norte Pine House

Quaint little Cabin nestled against lookout mountain and downtown Del Norte, CO. Cabin is neighboring a hiking and mountain biking trail and in walking distance to shops, a microbrewery and restaurants, 40 minute drive to Wolf Creek ski area, numerous mountain trails and roads, fishing near by on the Rio Grande and mountain lakes. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is perfect for 2 adults; but can accommodate additional guests for an additional $25 per person per night. The house has a fenced in yard and is located on 1 acre just a few minutes walk from the national forest. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the cozy enclosed porch. There is plenty of room for ATV parking, and you can go directly to many trails without having to tow or trailer!
