The Compass South - The Travelers Stay Near TSU

Remodeled 1940s house with lots of charm and modern comfort. The "Compass South", which is one of two units in The Compass, is decorated with a travel theme using unique vintage travel memorabilia and souvenirs from our travels around the world. You will enjoy the spacious bedroom, large bathroom, living room with sofa bed and a kitchenette complete with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and some snacks, and fast internet. Full bath tub/shower with plenty of towels and bath rugs. The kitchenette has a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave , toaster, wine glasses, Keurig coffee with creamer, sugar etc and snacks.

Guest house located on 60 acres in beautiful, rural Comanche County. Surrounded by green pastures and cattle, this is a peaceful country getaway located between Stephenville, Comanche, and Eastland. You will be welcomed by Hank and Beulah, the family ranch dogs. The ranch cat, Chris, and chickens will welcome you as well, and you may hear the rooster crow in the morning. No parties. Owners live in neighboring house on premises. No pets. Quiet guests, please, in order to respect neighbors.

House with private dock and cove on Lake Brownwood. Bring the whole gang! This newly remodeled home on the south shore of Lake Brownwood is sure to please. Enjoy the private lighted boat dock, a "jettied private cove", covered back porch with lake and sunset views. This old home has been completely upgraded while keeping the vintage charm like shiplap walls. The Wild Duck Marina is less than a mile away. FYI the lake is low. Our dock is currently a deck, with beautiful sunset views!

The Little Red Bunkhouse

The Little Red Bunkhouse is a private retreat located on a 50 acre working farm in rural De Leon, Texas. As our guest, you can relax and unwind on your private deck overlooking nature at it's finest! Pastures, woods, pond, cows, chickens, and wildlife! Gorgeous unobstructed sunsets and a sky full of stars! A country road for long walks! A comfy queen bed, plus a sofa sleeps 3. Private bath with walk-in shower, kitchenette with cookware, WiFi, grill, and fire ring (wood provided).

Enjoy a rural setting in the heart of cowboy country. Room to bring a horse and relax in quiet while being able to travel to many amenities surrounding Stephenville, Texas. (We're 2 miles out of town) Our new tiny home has a comfy bed, kitchen, and a place to kick off your shoes and relax. Come enjoy a fire outside, sit on the porch, or go for a ride in the area. Small dogs allowed with pre-approval. This includes a $20 pet fee. Up to 3 horses allowed with pre-approval and horse fee.

Feel at home in this 3 bedroom, two full bath home with free parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway and street parking as well. This home offers 1 king, 1 queen, 3 Twins, and a sofa to accommodate 8 guests comfortably. It has central heat and air, and a full size washer and dryer and everything to throw in a load of laundry. The kitchen is stocked with a Keurig, coffee pot, and essential kitchen tools and appliances. Pets allowed w/fee. Must message for required pre approval.

Enjoy your stay in Stephenville at our peaceful and stylish studio apartment. Located on our property, you'll have access to our private backyard and all of its amenities including a workout space, koi pond, fireplace and grill. This newly built space (April 2023) is furnished with brand new appliances, a full kitchen, refurbished wood floors and high ceilings. Within walking distance of Tarleton State University, it is ideal for parents or alumni. We look forward to your stay!
