Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Great place for two. Very clean with a sizable bedroom. The host left snacks and there are two decent restaurants in walking distance. If I ever go back to Winston-Salem this will be the first option to check. Thanks for a great stay!

This apartment in Salisbury is my go-to every time I visit—and for good reason. The location is ideal: close to downtown restaurants, shops, and cafés, yet quiet and relaxing. The apartment itself is charming, spotless, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches that make it feel like home. Sue is a fantastic host—quick to respond, kind, and always helpful. One of the things I love most is the sense of community; I’ve made wonderful new friends during my stays and often reconnect with familiar faces. There’s something truly special about this place—warm, welcoming, and filled with good energy. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who genuinely cares, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to come back!

Haydee was a great host. This is a very cool place to stay in Winston Salem. The art in all the rooms is amazing and the place was clean with a great shower and kitchen. It is spacious with a living area. There is a cute coffee shop next door. The only down side is the area which is transitioning and not really walkable at night. But by car it is close to downtown. It was an experience worth having!

This is our second stay here and love the place. It has the older home charm that is so tastefully decorated. The kitchen has it all! Roomy and private. Sitting on the back porch watching the dogs run around the back yard is great! The fenced yard is large and very cleared our and safe for the pups, mine loved it! I could go on and on but find out for yourself! You may even make a sweet friend next door! Such a personable person!

We had a bowling tournament in the area and it was perfect for three people to stay. Very peaceful and safe!

The house was thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences, making it both comfortable and functional. Whether it was enjoying family meals together, taking in the serenity of the lake, or simply spending quality time, this house offered everything we could ask for. One of the best decisions we made on a recent trip to NC was staying for 3 nights at Desiree’s lakefront condo in Davidson. Located on an inlet of beautiful Lake Norman this 2-bedroom rental exceeded our expectations. Curbside parking and ground-level access made entering and exiting the property quick and easy. And the 2-bedroom arrangement allowed us to put our 4-year old granddaughter to bed early while we stayed up to take in the view of the harbor or watch our favorite shows on the large-screen TV in our bedroom. We also enjoyed eating breakfast on the back porch and cooling off in the nearby pool. We did not have the time to enjoy all of the amenities the rental offered, but we made good use of the kitchen (with dishwasher and utensils) and the washer-dryer. Desiree’s lakefront property was a wise investment and contributed significantly to our enjoyment during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a quiet, private, and relaxing retreat!

Great location! 5 minutes from RJ Reynolds Auditorium. In the middle of everything, but very peaceful. Comfortable bed and free of clutter! Host is very responsive & helpful! We will 100% rent again next year m!
