Just what we needed for a trip to this area. The stay was peaceful and convenient. Enjoyed walking to and around the downtown area. The host was hospitable and responsive. Happy we found this property for our weekend stay.

This is our second stay here and love the place. It has the older home charm that is so tastefully decorated. The kitchen has it all! Roomy and private. Sitting on the back porch watching the dogs run around the back yard is great! The fenced yard is large and very cleared our and safe for the pups, mine loved it! I could go on and on but find out for yourself! You may even make a sweet friend next door! Such a personable person!

We stayed at Carson’s lake home for the last two months while we were transitioning to a new home.. His house was the perfect size for me, my husband and our two fur babies. The house had everything we needed for our longer stay - the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the daybed in the sunroom was a favorite reading spot of mine too. The views of the lake are so serene and beautiful and the fishing from the dock was great! The doggos loved running and playing in the yard too. Carson was a great host and was always available for anything we needed. Janice, the property manager, was fantastic as well. I would definitely recommend “No Obligations” to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway to High Rock Lake. Thank you Carson!

We really enjoyed the house, plenty of room for all of us! Was a great location for us while at High Point and easy drive. Each bed was super comfortable and the bathrooms are great.

Not sure if I missed this in the description somewhere, but you should know the main living area is on the second floor. This was tough for one of my elderly guests. Otherwise this was an over all great experience. Centrally located to lots of amenities, it was beautiful and peaceful and quiet’s

This house was awesome! My Fiancé and I rented this to gather family for Easter 2025. Linda gave us permission to have family who were semi local to visit for our Easter dinner which was so special to us! My guests staying with us were impressed with how relaxing the back area was with the pool and the sunroom. We had multiple adults, our niece (6mo) and several of our 4 legged nieces / nephews and there was plenty of space for us all. We are so grateful for Linda and her generosity! The day of check out one of our guests had rental car issues that took several hours to correct. Linda was gracious enough to extend our check out to allow time for them to fix the car issues and then get back to the house to pack up. We will definitely be coming back!

I can’t say enough about this place. Was very beautiful, like a little oasis. The outdoors was fantastic. And the inside was so clean and modern and the little bottle of champagne and the waters was so nice. Definitely will be back

We had a great stay at Dave's place, very dog-friendly! It was spacious and good for our one-night stay. Our dog had plenty of yard to do her business and sniff around. Due to Dave's clear directions, we had no problem finding the place in daylight. Our event was at night, but we could also find it upon coming back to the apartment. Dave was friendly and welcoming, helping us to feel right at home.

We enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to Truist ballpark, restaurants, the art district, as well as close to lots of other attractions. The place is quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Rebecca's Lake Norman home!!! Attention was paid to every single detail in preparation for our stay. Rebecca even left a birthday card since we booked saying it was our birthday weekend - 4 out of 7 of us have June birthdays within 6 days of one another!!! Rebecca has decorated the home with such care and during our stay, it truly felt like our home-away-from-home. We actually overpacked because just about everything and anything you might need Rebecca had already supplied. The first morning, I was the first up and was able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and watch the sunrise over the lake. Talk about tranquil!!! Then, after a long day out on the water, we enjoyed the warm glow of a firepit and shared stories from the day. Rebecca, memories were made to last a lifetime this birthday weekend, and very much of that is because of your home and the care you took to welcome us into it. A longer stay is in our future for sure!!

We had the loveliest of times at The Poet’s House. The location is amazing, private, surrounded by nature but close to all we needed. The house is so beautiful, peaceful and has incredible energy, it’s beautifully decorated making it a very pleasant environment to rest and relax. The beds were very comfortable, lots of amenities, complete kitchen, extra pillows and towels, etc. The best thing is the hosts! Always responsive and kind, flexible, very helpful and welcoming. We would love to stay here again.

This cabin is a little wonder in the middle of NC forest! We loved our overnight get away. Everything was clean and just as described and pictured! Thomas had a prebuilt fire ready to go which was extremely appreciated after a long car ride. Our kiddos thought the space was super cool and enjoyed exploring around the property. Highly recommend this space to anyone looking for peace, tranquility, and a little bit of luxury out in the wilderness. :)

The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. The king-size bed and furniture were all very comfortable. The unit had a smart TV with YouTube TV and reliable Wi-Fi, which worked well for remote work. The pool area was especially nice and private, surrounded by trees and shrubbery with no close neighbors. The hosts were FANTASTIC-responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. They respected our privacy but were always happy to chat. Jim and his family were all very lovely and interesting folks. Aside from the reason for our visit to the area, getting to know them was the highlight of our stay. We honestly have no complaints about the whole experience.👍🏻👍🏻

I stayed one night at Peggy’s place during a business trip to Salisbury and had a great experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very quiet — I got a great night’s sleep thanks to the dark, peaceful bedroom. Peggy and Brandon were on the property when I arrived and were super friendly. I was also able to bring my dog, and Peggy was kind enough to allow a late checkout for a small fee so I could leave her in the apartment during my meeting. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area.

We had pleasant stay. They cabin was so clean and cozy. It was a quiet and peaceful area. The owner was so nice and helpful. We are already thinking of staying again sometime in the near future. Perfect getaway!

Greg and Tammy are the most attentive hosts we've ever encountered in a rental property. Greg is the only host who phoned us ahead of our arrival to clarify directions and welcome us, answering any questions we might have had. We enjoyed the private gaited estate and the security it offered for our safety. We marveled at the landscape of "tall trees", the river front, pond and wild life, not to mention the farm chickens, horses and beautiful birds. The guest house gourmet kitchen was equipped with every type of cooking utensil possible! Every area was clean, the towels are the best I've ever used! Any request we had for additional items was graciously fulfilled. You won't find a better rental property and we are sure to return many times to come!

Amandas spot lived up to everything that the reviews stated. It was a very peaceful and welcoming environment. It felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend for anybody visiting the surrounding area!

My girlfriends and I were looking for a peaceful weekend away and I found Priscilla’s place. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay- it even smelled wonderful and was very clean. The host was extremely communicative and helpful, and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her home and crafting a welcoming guest experience. I’d definitely recommend for future guests or staying again in the future.
