Mill House Cottage in rural setting, come visit!

Escape from the hustle and bustle at Mill House Cottage. Originally built 1898-1911, loved & cared for ever since. Originally built for one of the Erwin Mills managers. After World War II, textile mills began to consolidate or move overseas, and the Erwin Mill in Cooleemee was impacted. In the 1950s, Erwin originally sold controlling interest of their mills to Abney Mills of South Carolina. 1962, control of the mills changed hands to Burlington Industries. Cooleemee is rich in history.

Enjoy food from the grill followed with s'mores by the fire pit. Lift the side wall up with ease to expand your space out onto the deck and immerse yourself into nature. Hiking trails directly accessible from the cabin. Enjoy beautiful woods, creeks and picnic areas; pet the horses and miniature donkeys; or just relax by the fireplace, or bonfire with your favorite beverage. Finish your day with a deep sleep on super comfy premium bedding and linens.
