Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double & one queen sized bedroom, small sofa bed and delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. NB. Stairs can be steep for the infirm.

NB: The bridge to the mills is currently closed, so access is via alternative routes.

The cottage dates from 1850 and was built for the mill workers. You will see the chimney of the former Peckwash Mill standing in front of the cottage. An abundance of character that will make you feel warm and welcome awaits you.

Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.
