Really enjoyed spending Christmas with family in Mary’s home. She is a very detailed host. Lots of extra Christmas touches like plates of goodies, hot chocolate and coffee bar to make it feel homey. Floors and bathrooms were squeaky clean. Thanks a lot from The Giesbrecht’s & Baerg’s

What can I say about this place other than it’s absolutely incredible! It’s even more beautiful than the photos. The views from both sides of the house , one city and one lake view were stunning. The house itself was pristine. You can tell a lot of love went into this house. Very clear instructions on everything around the house. The pool was heated to perfection. The hot tub comfortably fit all of my friends. Everything was perfect. I would definitely come back to this house. 10/10

The Airbnb house we stayed in was very clean, and the kitchen was tidy, giving off a warm and cozy feeling. It’s located very close to many famous attractions, which made getting around very convenient. The host, Peili was also a wonderful host who gave us a warm and heartfelt welcome when we arrived. They responded promptly to any questions we had and provided many clear and helpful suggestions. We’re very grateful to them.

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were excellent. It’s extremely private and has a pretty view. It’s pretty easy to find as well. I would definitely recommend!

The whole family enjoyed the stay. They all want to come back, it was everything we were looking for and the host was always available and very helpful.

This property served us well during our week in San Diego with our daughter. We were able to make simple meals in the well-stocked kitchen, enjoyed lots of time in the yard and hot tub, and had our morning coffee and evening cocktails in the comfortable chairs in the front portico. The house borders a lively neighborhood, which means lots of people passing by throughout the day, but there’s a great privacy fence and lots of lovely foliage all around the house. We went to many fantastic restaurants, most of them recommended by Ricardo. (Be sure to get brunch at The Great Maple and dinner at Herb & Wood and coffee and pastries from Bread & Cie. Everything we wanted to do was an easy drive from the house, especially Balboa Park (arrive early if you want a chance at parking a car). In short, this is a nice, safe place to stay in San Diego.

We had a great time at Golden Sands. This is exactly what a desert getaway should look like! Fun, unique, unexpected, and comfortable lodging surrounded by beautiful views of the desert and surrounding mountains. We absolutely loved soaking in the cowboy hot tub in the evening after a long day of exploring the desert. Great location close to everything yet far enough away for a bit of relaxation and quiet. So glad we found a getaway in our local deserts. We look forward to returning very soon!

Had a great stay at Bonnie’s place. Very warm and cozy. Didn’t expect snow at the end of April but it was a pleasant surprise.
