My family had a great a stay at this Air B&B! Peaceful, scenic, and clean. This was exactly what we were looking for and more.

Loved staying here! It's a very short walk to Kettle Cove State Park and Crescent Beach. Cape Elizabeth is a charming, quiet little town. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway spot, this is it. You'll feel right at home. Plus the hosts are very responsive and friendly. I'm already thinking about when I can return!

This property was amazing for our large group! It was clean and comfortable for our large party of 9 guests. The best part was the property’s location to Old Port and bar/restaurant scene. I would highly recommend this place if traveling with a large group.

Kevin's place worked out well for us. We were a group of 6 (traveling with 2 young kids + 2 grandparents). The accommodations worked out really well for us. It was a minimal walk to get to shops and only a bit further like ~14 minutes to get to the Old Port and the piers. We did as little walking as possible to avoid dealing with paying for parking, but it was incredibly convenient that Kevin provided a parking pass for the lot across the street. In terms of improvements, it is kind of an old building and so you get what you kind of expect with some questionable floorboards. And this is only because we have young kids who like to explore a lot of areas, but there were some parts that were dusty as well. It's also noted that laundry is provided but you have to go into the basement to use it. I think there is another airbnb rental in the same building and the noise levels can differ depending on who else is staying there. All in all, it was still a good value and we had a great time.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

I have stayed at Anne’s place many times. Anne and her husband are always very nice and friendly. The apartment is spotless, comfortable and you can’t beat the location, just up the hill from charming Falmouth Town Landing and beach and an easy drive to downtown Portland.

We had a delightful stay in this unique, beautifully designed, well-equipped house. The views were incredible and we stayed "home" for the majority of our meals rather than go out to eat and the kitchen was very well-stocked with high quality everything. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the late afternoons, listening to the birds and watching the tide go in and out. Very peaceful and just what we needed after a stressful July. We didn't love Brunswick itself, however -- a bit too commercial and built up for our tastes and there was traffic getting everywhere. That was the only downside of our stay but the house was wonderful.

Meghan's home was a perfect place to stay for my sister's Bachelorette weekend! The home is located in a quiet community with views of the river and bay, and it was conveniently located with just a short drive into the heart of Portland. We found our stay extremely comfortable, especially on such a cold and dreary April weekend. Meghan had the hottub ready for us with matching robes for all which was a fun surprise. Check in and check out were a breeze. We even took a breakfast recommendation from the guest book (Forage Market, yum!), a tasty experience indeed. Thanks again, Meghan!

House was great. Just as advertised. Actually over exceeded my expectations. Plenty of room. Plenty of bathrooms for the 10 guys we has staying the weekend. TVs is throughout the house. There were activities available such as pool table, dart board, yard games, etc to keep everyone entertained. Stocked with coffee and snacks as well. No complaints at all. Would stay again and recommend. Kate was a great host and responded to messages timely. Very friendly.

We stayed for just an overnight at Oak Leaf and had a wonderful experience! It is a quaint cottage overlooking the water. A great spot to relax and recharge. Thank you!

Jeff’s place is fantastically peaceful. I usually go for surf, but this tiny island in Casco Bay with its tides, and bird life and hiking trails in the Preserve was magical. The Guest House was bright and comfy in every way with beautiful views. Every time I re-entered the space I’d think, what a wonderful place this is and how lucky I am to be here! As a host, Jeff was caring, considerate and kind. His dogs Enzo and Luna, with her ball in mouth, were adorable. Everything about this little Island in Casco Bay was so peaceful and lovely and settling. The location was really beautiful. A lovely spot for a weekend on the lake. Even in bad weather, the aesthetics of the cabin brought peace and the multi-season porch let us feel outside even if the rain slowed down some of our activities. Stephanie had excellent communication the whole time, and really prompt answers when we asked questions during the trip. The linens were fresh, counters were pristine, and the space was very organized. The house was well-stocked with basics (salt/pepper, dishes, cooking oil, sufficient toilet paper). Check out was easy, and required basic clean up required at most other airbnbs (start laundry, load dishes). The other guests and I talked about how it would be nice to come back again in the future with hopefully better weather. We had a great stay!

Although most consider The Maine Lakes Region a summer play land, it is also an absolutely breathtaking winter wonderland and made extra special staying at this residence. The sunrise views over a frozen, snow covered Thomas Pond are very special; this open and spacious home really made us feel that we were on vacation. During our stay a little snow storm passed through, the hosts plowed and cleared immediately. Highly recommend this residence year round.

Rob’s Airbnb was wonderfully situated in the woods of Maine. Lake front access, a fire pit, wood burning stove - everything to make the perfect cabin getaway. Situated 30 minutes from Portland, we were able to enjoy both mountain and city life all in one weekend. Highly recommended!

This Airbnb was a great space for 4 people. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach. About 20 minutes from so many shops and restaurants in Portland. Host sent very detailed instructions the day before the trip that were very accurate and helpful. Neighborhood felt safe and the unit was very clean.

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

If you're looking for a little bit of peace and quiet, a decent meal or a drink on the beach, and to fall asleep to the sounds of waves calmly crashing than this is the place for you! Let's start with the host Sameer. Very clear and concise with visit guidelines and very quick to respond to any messages. Fantastic. The condo itself is spotless and pretty much has everything you need whether it's coffee in the morning or cookware for an afternoon dinner. Now haven't been to the Brunswick quite a bit I do know the music and crowds in the summer can be a bit much, but being able to easily go upstairs to this condo that is on the opposite side of the band I'm sure is a nice way to end your day with having the opportunity to sit on the deck to listen to the music or close the doors and relax. Can't say enough good things about this place!!

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

J’ai toujours rêvé de venir à OOB l’hiver et j’ai vraiment aimé l’expérience! Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Avec son emplacement et ses portes patios doubles, la vue est splendide! Pour les amateurs du bruit des vagues, de la vue de la mer, des levés de soleil, des longues marches à la plage… c’est l’endroit idéal!

The location is amazing. The view is amazing as shown in the pictures. The apartment was actually pretty quiet, we couldn’t hear anyone in other units and little to no noise from the beach or bar below, though we stayed in the off-season. The balcony is huge and plenty of seating options and the living room is spacious and lots of seating. We had two young kids with us and we all had a great time. Would stay again.

Perfect little place for a weekend away near Portland!

Dave was a very responsive host and his property was exactly what he described. The location was very good to visit downtown Portland. At last, we loved the bakery right in front!
