There is a shared dock on the pond for swimming, fishing, or just enjoying the view as well as a canoe and 2 kayaks, and a paddle board.

Kayak or canoe out to Turtle Cove and enjoy the wildlife in this natural waterway teeming with birds to include our resident Blue Heron, ducks, geese, and loons who make this place their home. We have the fortune of bald eagles in several tall pines. Turtles sunning on doting rocks and lily pads in bloom greet us each day. It is a natural water landscape.

Welcome to Barrett's Cabin located in the foothills of the White Mountains with water views of Hancock Pond, 50 minutes to Portland, 35 to North Conway and 15 to Bridgton and Pleasant Mountain. Open concept first floor, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, Carriage House has 2 bedrooms for an additional $50 per night. Driveway fits up to 6 cars. Enjoy outdoor patio, shower, fire-pit, private mini hiking trail system and quick access to snowmobile trails and public boat launch 1/3 mi away.

It is a 4 season accommodation that is close to Freeport shopping, Portland eating, and the Adventure Schools of LL Bean. The cottage sits approximately 50 yards from our main house, has its own parking space and patio, and offers the ability to come and go as you wish. We have had 12 honeymoons in the cottage. Cabins on the water. Songo Lock Cabins are located at the Historical Songo Locks. The cabins are over 100 years old and date back to the early 1900's.. Every year we add new things . The cabins are on the water and have their own dock. The Songo Locks is hand operated and opens to allow boats in and lowers them so they can continue down river into Sebago Lake.
