Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

Ashley Barn

The well appointed annexe apartment has its own entrance, parking outside and is self contained with king size bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette (please read below) and bathroom with a bath and separate shower. With glorious views across the fields to see horses, sheep and cattle grazing in the fields beyond. This annexe is quiet, comfortable and secluded, with tea and coffee provisions provided. The Grade II Listed cottage is 300-350 years old with bags of character and authentic charm. It is very comfortable in the snug with its own wood burner and other original features. Go to sleep hearing the owls and wake up to the birds singing. Make breakfast and drink a cup of tea in the garden. There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep including a lake very close by. We quite often see deer from our house.
