Welcome to The Farmhouse in the Woods! This luxury 2 story small home is located on our family’s 25 acres in rural “Deep” East Texas. The Farmhouse is located right outside of the small town of Atlanta. This is a great place to unplug and get back to nature. There is no WIFI or Internet. Relax on the back porch, have a campfire, fish, or walk some of the trails. Create memories with your family while getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Ginicchio-Meyer Home

Welcome! We want to share a bit of history with you! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience staying at this unique & intricate beautiful 1890’s home. In the 1890’s Charles Ginocchio, owner of the Ginocchio Hotel and the Ginocchio home, had this home built by C. G. Lancaster for Emile Meyers, who operated a saloon in the hotel. Emile, an immigrant from Alsace-Lorraine continued to work at the hotel for many years. During the prohibition era, he converted the saloon into a soda fountain.
